Chapter 11

Imani's POV

"So a hybrid walks into a bar and says to the bartender--" Klaus said but the witch cut him off

"Stop. You may be invincible but that doesn't make you funny. I remember you." She said refering to stefan

"Yeah. You're Gloria. Shouldn't you be--" She cut Stefan off as well

"Old and dead? Now if I die who's gonna run this place? Huh?" She asked

"Like Imani Gloria is a very powerful witch." Klaus whispered to Stefan

"I can slow the aging down some. Herbs and spells but don't worry It'll catch up with me one day." She said

"Don't say that you're scaring me." I said jokingly

"Now. I have heard about you. The Mikaelson family and You used to run New Orleans. Every witch was scared of you." She said

"I have my skills." I said

"Stefan why don't you go and fix us up a little something from behind the bar." Klaus said

"Yeah sure."

"You look ravishing by the way." Klaus said to Gloria

I cleared my throat

"Mhmm I know why you're here. A hybrid out to make more hybrids?" That kind of news travels." Gloria said. We all sat down.

"What are we doing wrong? I broke the curse." Klaus said

"Obviously you did something wrong. Look every spell ahs a loophole. But a curse that old we'd have to contact the witch who created it." Said Gloria

"Well that would be the original witch. She's very dead." Klaus said proudly. He must be talking about his mother

"And for me to contact her. I'll need her help." She said looking at me

"Bring me Rebekah." She said. I was happy because she could finally be woken. I missed my best friend.

"Rebekah. Rebekah is a bit preoccupied." Klaus said

"She has what I need. Bring her to me." Gloria said

"What is this?" Stefan asked. He was holding a picture. I walked over there to see what he was pointing out. It was a picture of him and Klaus. My eyes bucked at the picture

"Well I told you Stefan. Chicago is a magical place." Klaus said

"But this is me with you." Stefan said

"Alright we're gonna cut this visit short. I'll go get my little sister." Klaus said

We started to leave. I got up to

"Oh no. You're staying here." Klaus said

"Stay here why?" I asked

Klaus gave me a look that said you should know why

"Fine. Fine" I said sitting down

Klaus and Stefan walked out and me and Gloria sat down.

"You know why his hybrids are failing don't you?" She asked me

"Maybe. Maybe not." I said

"Why didn't you tell him? You made him come all the way to Chicago to ask me." She said

"Well it's hard to explain." I said

"I got time." She said

"I mean I love Klaus but I can't betray Stefan. He'll never forgive me. So maybe things will go right if I just keep my mouth closed." I said
"I know what your problem is." She said
I remained silent.
"You and the Salvatore brother had a little fling back then. And you still have some feelings for him."
My heart started racing
"BINGO." She said
"What are you talking about? I love Klaus and I always have." I said
"Oh no baby you can't lie to me. I can feel your energy from all the way over here." She said
"Don't worry. I'm not a snitch I'll keep your secret. Just help me get ready for the night." She asked of me
"Thank you. If Klaus ever found out he would kill him and I do not want a mad Salvatore brother coming after me." I joked
I helped her get ready for the night. By the time we were through people started coming through the door I was serving food while Gloria was at the bar. Once the party started going I saw Damon walk through the door. He went up to Gloria and started talking to her.  I texted Stefan.
"Damon here at the club." I texted him. And I put my phone away.
