The Next Day
Imani's POV
We arrived in Mystic Falls. We were in the back of the truck with the coffins. Stefan was lying down on the floor. Klaus kicked him on his foot. I just stood over him with my arms folded. Stefan woke up and was surprised by his surroundings.
"Just give me a chance to explain myself ok?" Stefan said
"No need. I'm not mad. I'm just curious. Rebekah seems to think you're holding on to something. A piece of your old life. The thing is she got flawless instincts; borderline supernatural. And Imani here.... is more than just voodoo and witchcraft she can read minds. But I thought I would check it out. See for myself what it is you've been hiding." Klaus explained
He lifted the latch to the truck up.
"Welcome Home,Stefan." Klaus said
After A Couple of Hours
Klaus has been breaking Stefan's neck for I don't know how long. Trying to get information from him. Klaus snapped Stefan's neck again. Getting fed up
"I'm gonna go have a look around. You and Rebekah will stay here and keep him company." Klaus said
"Are you serious? Me and Rebekah have to stay behind and babysit while you get all the action? You've got to be kidding me." I said
"Yeah well I wasn't really asking." Klaus said snapping back
I looked at him with my arms folded.
"I'm sorry, love. But this a job for me and me only." He said and he vamp sped off.
"Uggh. I hate him." I groaned in annoyance
"No you don't." Rebekah came around and said. I laughed
"You are right about that." I said in response
"He loves you you know." Rebekah said
"Really? Sometimes I have these insecurities about my self. It's like a wound that my father put in my head and it has never healed." I said
"Are you kidding? I envy you for your looks. You know, you're different to all the other girls my brother has dated." She said
"Umm should I be worried?" I asked
"No. I mean that in a good way. It's like something has changed in him since he met you." Rebekah said
"I mean how? How am I different than the other girls? I thought I was just being a regular girlfriend." I asked
"For God sake, he is in love with you like he has not been with any other girl. He would do anything for you. He admires you, your bravery and kindness and boldness. Besides I like you so you're ok." We burst out laughing
Then Stefan woke up.
"Oh, he lives." Rebekah said
"What happened?" Stefan asked
"You took a beating. My brother's been breaking your neck all afternoon. Quite the temper."
"Yeah I had to step out a few times just to puke. Hearing bones crack over and over again can make you a little queasy." I said
"Why did he bring us back to Mystic Falls?" Stefan asked
"You can stop playing dumb now. It didn't take him long to figure out what you' been hiding." Rebekah said
"I'm not hiding anything. I've done everything Klaus has asked me to." Stefan said
"No, you just failed to mention that the doppelganger's still alive." Rebekah said. Stefan was anxious.
