Imani's POV
After I went back to sleep I woke up and it was daylight outside.I checked my phone and I see a thousand texts from Elena.
'Meet up at Salvatore house.' It said
So I got ready. And I drove over there. I knocked on the door. Stefan opened the door.
"Come on in Imani." Stefan said
"What's going on?" I asked
"Tonight's is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse."
" I see you're finally out. And the sun and moon curse?" I asked
"No. Elena said the sun and moon curse is fake? But it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus?" Stefan said
"What?"
"Yes. Klaus is a vampire born of werewolf bloodline. The curse has his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it he'll be a true hybrid." Elijah said
"So you're telling me that Klaus is a vampire and werewolf? And you guys didn't think to tell me this yesterday or let alone 200 years ago?" I said
"It was different after we met you." He said
"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today with Bonnie and Imani." Damon asked
"Woah wait a damn minute. When did I agree to this?" I said
"No Bonnie can't use that much power without dying." Elena said
"I'll write her a great eulogy" Damon joked
"It's not an option Damon." Elena said
"All right how do we break this curse" Stefan asked
"Well the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients so to speak, you already know"
"The moon stone."
"A witch will channel enough power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that Klaus being a werewolf and a vampire will sacrifice one of each." Elijah explained
"And where do I fit into it?" Elena asked
"The final part of the ritual. Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger to the point of your death." Elijah explained.
"And that's where you come in." Elena said
"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation." Elijah said
"So I'll be dead." Elena asked
"And then you won't"
"That's your plan? A magical potion with no expiration date? You want to come back to life what about John's ring?" Damon asked
"Those rings only work on humans. Doppelgängers a supernatural occurrence. Odds are the ring won't work."
"I'll take this odds over your elixir. What if It doesn't work Elena?" Damon asked
"Then I guess I'll just be dead." Elena said
Damon stuttered over his words. And he walked off.
"Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?"
"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf my guess is by tonight he will." Elijah said
"This is too much. I'm going to the restroom." I said
I went to the restroom and washed my face. That was so much information. How was I gonna go tell Klaus that his brother is planning to kill him? I came back out. And I went to the living room. They were still gathered around. "Well if that's it I'm leaving." I said and I walked out of the door.
"Imani wait!" It was Elena
"Are you ok? You know with all of this killing Klaus thing?" She asked me.
"You know I'm trying so hard to be." I said
"I mean Klaus is the love of my life. He saved my life. I don't know. I don't want you to die but I don't want him to die either." I said
"But I'm your friend. And Klaus has done bad things. You're gonna go along with Elijah's plan right?" I could not believe what she just said. She can be so selfish sometimes.
"Yeah Elena. And I'll just ignore my heart and listen to you." I said sarcastically and I got in my car and drove off. I got a text from Klaus
'Come to Alaric's apartment—K'
I saw that he sent me the address. I drove over there. Once I arrived I knocked on the door. Some girl opened the door.
"What do you want?" she asked
"I need to see Klaus." I said.
"He's not available." She said
I scoffed and pushed her away and entered the door. When I walked in I saw Klaus. I ran up to him and gave him a kiss.
"I thought you guys were dead." I said pulling away from the kiss
"I thought you were too love." He said smiling
I smiled. The girl cleared her throat.
"Greta. I need you to go out and find our little werewolf and vampire" he said
"So what? I'm just pushed to the side as soon as your little girlfriend is here?" She said
"Why don't you just do what you were told huh? Your honor is to Klaus right?"I said
She didn't respond.
"Ok, then go do your job." I said
She starting chanting Latin.
"Oh no honey you don't want to do that. I am way stronger than you so I suggest you don't get on my bad side" I said
She didn't listen
"Toufe li " I said choking her into the air and threw her against the wall. I dropped her.Klaus started laughing. She ran out the door.
I looked back at Klaus and I looked behind him and saw Katherine.
"What the hell is she doing here?" I asked him
"I am keeping her for information." Klaus said
"Mhmm" I said.
"Why so jealous dear?" He asked
I didn't respond
"You know you're the only lady in my life." He said brushing my hair out of his face with his hand. I look up at his eyes. Those blue eyes. Man they can make a girl go weak. He kissed me. He tried to take off my clothes. Did he forget Katherine was here?
"Are you forgetting something?" I said looking at Katherine. He looked up at her
"Oh. Forget about her." He said
"No. I won't feel comfortable. But when you get done breaking the curse you know where to find me." I said smirking
I walk away. After that I went to my apartment. After I sat down I heard a knock on my door. I groaned and I went to open the door.
"You have to help Elena." He said while just walking into my apartment. I rolled my eyes.
"How many times have I told you people no." I said
"Please. Elena is one of your best friends. Why aren't you helping her."
"Because. You think I want to cross Klaus? You think I want to be running for the next 500 years like your little fling Katherine?" I asked him
"I know you don't but this is Elena we are talking about. Please. I'm begging you" He said grabbing my face almost kissing me.
"Stefan stop." I pushed him away
"What the hell are you doing? You know you're with Elena and you know that I'm with Klaus." I said
"You know you used to do anything for me. But until Klaus comes back he has all of your attention." He said
"You sound jealous. Yet you were the one coming to me asking for help with your girlfriend and now your jealous of my relationship with Klaus."
"I'm not jealous." He said
"So its ok for you to move on but not me right?" I said
There was silence
"Get out." I said
As he was walking out I said something to him
"I'll see if I can place a protection hex on Elena. That way if Klaus kills her she'll come back to life." I said
"I'm sorry we didn't work out." He said before leaving. A tear slipped from my eye. Why am I crying? I should be over Stefan. Any feelings I have I should get rid of them. Klaus is back. He loves me and I love him.
