Chapter 17

Imani's POV

I woke up so late today and I had this terrible headache. It must have been because of me getting drunk last night. When I looked at the clock I saw it was 1:20. I had to to get up because today was the day of the homecoming dance and I know Rebekah would want me there with her. I bought a dress last weekend. I took another shower. I washed my hair also. I brushed my teeth. I needed Rebekah's opinion so I called her to ask her what I should do with my hair.

"Hey Becks. What should I do with my hair?" I asked her

"You're going to the homecoming dance?" She asked me

"Yeah I thought you might want me to come so you won't be lonely." I said

"Hmmm you should curl it" she said
I smiled

"Ok ok. See you at the Homecoming dance." I said and I hung up
Blow dried my hair and I started curling it. I then started doing my makeup. After that I put on my dress and shoes. By the time I got done it was about 5:30. I took a cab to the dance because I left my car at the Salvatore's last night since I was a bit tipsy. I got a text that said the dance was canceled because the gym was flooded and the party was gonna be at Tyler's house. So I told the cab driver to take me to his house which was a lot of money since his house was far. I got out and I went to find Rebekah. I looked all over and I couldn't find her. I then went outside and you would believe who I bumped into.

"Hello, love" he said

I Scoffed and walked away.  He started to follow me. I noticed that he was following me.

"Leave me alone Klaus"

"Wait just let me explain-" I cut him of

"You know you got some nerve showing up here. You know you're a coward. Breaking up with me over text? You know if you had the balls like a real man you would come up to me and break up with me in person. But instead you send a text."

"I cant be with you anymore Imani. Things are getting too dangerous and I cant risk you being in the way." He said

" 'Things are getting dangerous?' Since when Klaus? All of the things we have been through? And things are getting dangerous? Tuh? Be honest Klaus, what's the real reason you broke up with me? Huh? Were you using me this whole time?" I asked

"Yeah I was. I needed you to help me become a hybrid. From the day I met you I knew you were the key to helping me break the sun and moon curse. I knew you were the key to helping me become the Hybrid and help me build my army of hybrids. So yea, I guess you can say I was using you." He said

After he said that I smacked him. And I started tearing up.

"I never wanna speak to you or see you again. Go to hell." I said  I started to walk away. 

I went inside to find a bathroom and I started sobbing. It took me a minute to get myself back together. When I looked in the mirror I saw I looked a mess. I had to wash my face. I did my makeup over and I went back outside. I had to make sure I stood clear of him tonight. I wanted to go home but now I had to stay here. For Rebekah. I saw Stefan. I went to go speak to him. 

"Where's Rebekah?" I asked him

"At home in the cellar." He said

"What! Why is she in there?" I asked

"We didn't need her ruining our plan."

"Which is?" I asked

"We're gonna use Mikael to kill Klaus."Stefan said

At this point I couldn't stand Klaus anymore and I wished he was dead

"Make sure he's dead." I said then I walked away.

 I needed a drink but all they had was beer. I guess I had to drink nasty ass beer. I was looking for beer but then I remember how they have whiskey in the house and I went into the house to get it. When I saw how there was none left I remember how I left my car at the Salvatore house. I'll just raid their stash. I went to the Salvatore house to get my car because I was tired of taking a cab. When I got to the Salvatore house I got out and paid cab fee. He then drove off. When I was walking to the front door I noticed in the corner of my eye something was zooming behind me. I turned around and looked around me and didnt see anything. I assumed it was nothing and then it happened again.

"Who's there?" I said

No one responded.  Then a force hit the back of my head and I blacked out.

Stefan's POV

I took Imani and I put her in the backseat of Katherine's car. I took Klaus' family and his girl in order to gain my freedom. I knew that his family and Imani were his greatest weakness and he'll do anything to get them back.
