Chapter 7

Imani's POV

It has been 2 days since I have heard from Klaus. I am starting to get worried. Did Elijah kill him? I will be angry with him if he did. I have been avoiding Damon, Stefan Bonnie and everyone who you could think of. They knew that I have been helping Klaus and I just can't bear to see them after I betrayed them. I'll feel too guilty. I heard a ding on my phone indicating I got a text.

Meet me at Alaric's-Klaus

I drove over to Alaric's loft. It wasn't that far so I was there in no time. When I got there I knocked on the door. I was greeted by Katherine. I rolled my eyes.

"Katherine." I said entering with my arms crossed.

"If you're looking for Klaus he's not here." She said

"I can see that obviously. He texted me and told me to meet him here"
"Well I guess you're just gonna have to wait." She said

I sat down on a stool at the counter. A few minutes later Stefan walked in.

"Hello Katherine." He said

"So you're just gonna ignore me like I am not here?" I said

He didn't respond.

"2 days I have been waiting. I am supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now he's supposed to be dead" Katherine said

"We ran into complications" Stefan said

"Complications?" Katherine said

"It doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he may be?" After Stefan said that she zoomed behind the wall.
"Klaus. You're back. Look who decided to come by for a visit." Katherine said

"You just keep popping up don't you?" Klaus said

"I need your help... for my brother." Stefan said

"Oh whatever it is it's gonna have to wait a tick. You see I have an obligation to my brother. It requires my immediate attention." Klaus said and he started to walk away.

"You understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." Elijah said

"And so I shall" Klaus said then he daggered Elijah.

"No!" I said

"Klaus what the hell is your problem? How could you dagger your own brother?" I yelled at him

"Oh I'm sorry but you failed to mention that he tried to kill me." Klaus said

"I didn't think he was actually going to do it I thought he was bluffing." I said

"Yeah alright" Klaus said rolling his eyes.

Then he pushed Stefan against the wall while pushing his hand in his chest and grabbing his heart.

"Klaus don't" I said sternly

"Now. What am I going to do with you?" He said

"I don't know and I don't care just please I am begging you... help my brother"

Klaus grabbed a knife and stabbed Stefan.

"Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart. The slightest little movement and you're dead." Klaus said

Then Katherine jumped in, "He's just trying to help his brother"

"The witches said you had a cure. Make me a deal. Just give me the cure and I'll do whatever you want." Stefan said. After Stefan said that Klaus took the knife out of Stefan. Stefan was on the floor groaning in pain.
"Are you ok?" I was about to go up to him
