Chapter 16

Imani's POV
"Hi Ms. Sheila." Caroline said
"Grams How are you here?" Bonnie asked
"When you sent Vickie back to the other side. The  original witch that was helping her just opened another door. Letting any ghost with unfinished business out. Bonnie you need to close that door to the other side." Bonnies' grandmother said.
"But how?" Bonnie asked
"You need to find that necklace. It the closest thing to the original witch. You need to destroy it. Closing the door." She said
"Caroline. Call Elena and tell her we need her necklace." Bonnie told Caroline. Caroline went to go call Elena.  Bonnie's grandmother kept looking at me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked
"Nothing. I'm just glad to see another Bennett witch." She said
"I'm not a Bennett witch." I said
"Yes you are. I can feel it." She said
"Yea I can too. I've felt a connection with you since the day I met you." Bonnie said
"But how. I don't even know my history. My mother had a sister but I've never met her." I said
"And she just so happened to be traded up to Mystic Falls Virginia and she was given the name Emily Bennett." She mentioned
"Really? How did you know that?" I asked
"I gained some info on the other side." She said
"Oh my. I can't believe it. Bonnie I'm you're like my second cousin." I said laughing. And I gave her a hug. The. Caroline came over and explained how Elena gave her necklace to Damon and he had it hidden in his room somewhere.
"Ok let's go look for it." I said
We went to the Salvatore mansion to look for the necklace. But we couldn't find it. We tore Damon's room up but we were looking for the necklace that was obviously not there. Then Jeremy called Bonnie. Caroline went off on him and hung the phone up.
"What was that all about?" Bonnie asked.
Caroline was quiet.
"Caroline." Bonnie said
"Fine. Elena caught Jeremy kissing Anna" She said

"Let's go find that necklace." Bonnie said

We got in the car and drove through town and it was chaos. We saw Mayor Lockwood. Her car was against the tree and she was unconscious.

"Bonnie run." Caroline said

Me and Bonnie ran to the location of where the witches were burned. After a couple of minutes Jeremy came with the necklace.

"Bonnie." He said. He gave her the necklace. 

She looked at him for a while then she snatched the necklace away. She then threw it in the fire. She silently asked for my hand and I gave it to her and we started recited the spell. Bonnie's grandmother grabbed her other hand and Bonnie proceeded to say goodbye to her grams. We continued the spell and her grandmother was gone. I comforted Bonnie as she cried.

"Thank you for helping me." She said

"Anytime." I said

I left to give Bonnie and Jeremy to talk. I went back home. I really missed Klaus. I called him but just got his voicemail. Rebekah came to my apartment

"Hey you ok?" She asked me

"Yeah. I tried to call your brother and I just got his voicemail"

"He'll call back. For the meantime lets have fun"

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up. I was expecting a missed call but I did get a see a text message from him. I was excited until I opened it up. 

"Let's break up."

When I read that message my heart dropped.

"Imani what's wrong?" Rebekah asked me

I stayed quiet because I'm still trying to piece what he just texted me together.

"Imani! What is it?"

"Your brother just broke up with me.... over text." I said

"Oh. Im going to kill him the next time I see him. Are you alright?" She asked
