Imani's POV
I woke up and I decided to go for a run. I had to clear my mind of everything. I put on my outfit and I started running. I ran all the way to the Mystic Grill and then I stopped. I caught my breath. Then I started to feel dizzy. My vision started blurring up. I then saw Klaus. Then everything was black.
Klaus POV
I saw Imani and I decided to go annoy her. She saw me coming and then she passed out. I vamp sped over there and caught her before she fell.
"Imani Love can you hear me?" I asked her. She didn't respond. I didn't know what was wrong with her so I couldn't cure her with vampire blood. So I decided to take her to the hospital.
"I need some help." I yelled
They started to bring a gurney.
Imani's POV
I was going in and out. I felt someone carrying me. I then felt being placed on something.
"What's your name?" I heard faintly
"Imani." I said weakly
"Can you tell me what's wrong? Are you hurting?" The doctor asked me
"I'm pregnant." I told her and then I went back out.
Klaus POV
I started to get worried. Then I saw the doctor come out.
"What's the matter with her? Is she ok?" I asked
"Are you a family member sir?" He asked me
"No I am not. What the hell is going on." I said compelling him
"She's pregnant. But she's bleeding out. Which means she's losing the baby. We're doing everything to save it. But 9 times out of 10 it doesn't have a good chance of surviving. I'm sorry."
He said then walked away.My heart sank and I didn't say anything in response. Imani was pregnant? Why didn't she tell me? My emotions were all over the place. I just left the hospital an pretended not to care.
A Few Hours Later
Imani's POV
I woke up and I was in a hospital room. I saw Rebekah sitting next to me.
"Rebekah." I said
She came over there by me.
"Don't you ever do that again. You almost gave me a bloody heart attack."
I laughed.
"What happened?" I asked her
"I'm sorry." She said
"What are you sorry about?" I asked her
"You lost the baby." She said shedding a tear
"What?" I said my heart started racing
"I'm sorry." She said
"No." I said and I started to cry. Rebekah came to comfort me. She held me in her arms as I was crying.
"Wait." I said
"What is it love?" She asked
"He knows now doesn't he?" I asked her
"Yes. He told me you were in the hospital." Rebekah
My heart started racing. I don't know why but it felt like I was about to have a panic attack. I started breathing heavily. I couldn't control my breathing.
"Imani Breath! Nurse!" Rebekah said
My nurse came in and she gave me a sedative. I quickly went to sleep
