“How long ago was that?” Ryan pondered, eyes set on the road.

Rose glanced at him and pursed her lips.

"Last year in November..." she answered regrettably.

Ryan whistled.

"That long already?" he said amused. "We've both been busy, haven't we?"

Rose agreed inwardly. It was true. They haven't physically seen each other since they did it. She was too focused on Finn than on settling the divorce.

"So what have you been up to these days?"

"I've just been taking care of my child," she replied nonchalantly.

Ryan eyed her in shock. "You were pregnant?"

Rose gave him a self-conscious look as if she had done something wrong. She thought he was about to get invasive like last time again.

Ryan quickly wiped the shock off his face and replaced it with a sheepish smile.

"No wonder you were busy," he chuckled lightly. "When did you give birth?" he asked.

"August," she answered.

"Female?" he asked.

"Male," she corrected softly.

"So that means that your son is five months old now, isn't he?" he said amazed.

Rose giggled softly to herself in delight. To think that she had given birth five months ago, it really only just felt like it was yesterday.

"He's growing up too fast," she muttered to herself.

"What's his name?" he asked with a smile.

She brightened thinking about her cute son.

"Finnigan," she answered happily.

Ryan glanced at her and made a look of approval.

"Nice name," he approved.

Rose gave a small smile. It probably won't be considered such a nice and if she told him it was Keenan's decision. Should she tell him anyway?

"It was Keenan's idea," she added.

Ryan suddenly changed his expression to one of annoyance.

"Never mind then," he said abruptly.

Rose lightly slapped his arm and frowned a little. She saw this coming but still said it anyway.

Ryan chuckled in response and shook his head.

"I bet he's quite a looker if he has your genes," he remarked.

Rose felt slightly happy at that comment and couldn't help but feel glad whenever she looks at Finn and sees that he looks like her after all.

"Want to see him?" she asked with an excited smile.

Ryan eyed her before wholeheartedly agreeing.

"Of course," he said.

When they stopped at a red light, Rose quickly fumbled around, thinking she had brought her phone but then the realisation hit her.

"I forgot my phone," she said dejected.

Ryan quickly gazed over at Rose.

"At the restaurant?" he questioned.
