Laurent was surprised when Caroline didn't ask for much at the mall. They spent about thirty minutes going into stores and browsing through everything, or just simply window shopping. He learned that Caroline was a very indecisive girl, but he didn't mind it; he enjoyed her company more than he thought he would. He liked the way her face would light up every time she saw something she wanted, or the way she'd try to conceal her sadness when she looked at the prices. To Laurent, the prices were nothing for him. He made enough money to blow a thousand in one day, and being that she was his now, he'd gladly blow ten times that.

She only went to one store out of the two hours they'd been there, which was Charlotte Russe. He ended up getting her three dresses, a black one, a lavender one, and an army green one. The black one was plain and fitting with a V-Cut neckline, and the sleeves were long. The lavender one was wire rimmed above and under the breasts and it had a deep neckline with no sleeves. He wasn't too sure about getting her that dress, but she insisted every time he said no. The army green one was loose, and it was collared with two pockets in the front and was cuffed at the elbows. He got her two skirts as well: a pink skirt and a red skirt. The pink skirt was high waisted, and it stopped mid-thigh. The red skirt was probably his favorite. It was shorter than the pink one and it made her curves more prominent. The last few items she chose were three bralettes. They were pink, burgundy, and yellow. He didn't see her try those on, but he was positive she looked like a little angel in them.

"You want something else?" He asked her, shifting her bag from one hand to the other as they walked through the mall.

"I don't think so," she said, pulling her jacket over her arms more. "You said you wanted to shop for yourself, right?"

He grunted a little when she failed to say his preferred name, but he left it alone, being that they were in public. "Yes, I am. You want me to go now?"

Caroline nodded and he did the same, his eyes wandering around the big mall. There were a bunch of stores he liked going to, but there was one in particular he went to for his work clothes. When he saw the store, he grabbed Caroline's hand, leading the way as he headed towards it. She looked at the sign and it read True Religion. She hadn't been in there before but when she saw the clothes, she was completely shocked. The clothes were made mainly for men, but they were tailored and embellished so nicely.

"Take this okay?" He said, handing her the bag. "Look at the other stuff while I get mine."

Caroline nodded and they both went to different parts of the store. The store was pretty big, bigger than the one she went to. They had a wide selection of clothes, like jackets, jeans, coats, hoodies, sweatpants. All of them had unique designs in them as well, making them stand out. She walked over to the racks with jackets and hoodies hanging on them and she sorted through them, her eyes skimming over the soft articles of clothing. There was one hoodie that stood out to her. It was a throw over hoodie, and it had Mickey Mouse on it with a blunt in his hand. The irony of it amused her and she began to browse that section. From what she could tell, they only had black, yellow, green, and purple.

"Excuse me?"

Caroline jumped at the voice from behind her and she quickly turned around, coming face to face with a gruff, heavy-set man.

"Um, yes?" She said, continuing to sift through the clothes.

"What's your name, doll?" The man asked, watching her small hands worth through the thick hangers. Caroline didn't answer and she moved on to the next section, only to have him follow her over to it.

"That's awfully rude, isn't it? Walking away from me?"

"I don't know you," she spat, glaring at him. "Leave me alone."
