"The more you lie, the worse it will get," Laurent said, cracking his knuckles as he paced the floor of the red room. His eyes never once left Larry as he did and he watched as Larry blinked slowly, drops of blood dripping from his mouth. He had been beating on Larry for the last thirty minutes, and Larry didn't know how much more he could take. The first thing that Laurent asked when he came into the room was if Caroline had came to speak to him, and he denied everything. When he was asked about the tape on his mouth, he said the sweat caused it to come off, which wasn't really a lie. Laurent shrugged that one off, though. His clothes were starting to get wet by the sweat coming from his arms and abdomen which made it more believable.

"I already tell you," Larry groaned, spitting the blood out from his mouth. "I don't... I don't speak to her -"

Laurent sent another punch to Larry's face and he screamed as he did it, the anger just boiling inside of him by the second. He didn't like when people lied to him, and Larry was on real thin ice at this point.

"Stupid Larry," Laurent laughed, sitting his brother up in the chair. "You want to know why the fuck I know you are lying?"

Larry looked up at him and he raised his eyebrows, shrugging lightly as if he didn't even care. "Why, Lau?"

"Because Caroline... she tell me already. It is no point for lying anymore, Larry. Give up!"

Larry's face fell drastically and he shook his head, his arms tugging at the restraints on his wrists. "Don't fucking hurt her, Laurent! She do nothing to you!"

Laurent just laughed, his eyes running over his bruised knuckles. "She do nothing to me?"

"No!" Larry shouted. "Laurent, she is just a little girl! They are all little girls! What is wrong with you, bro?!"

"Blame Lily for this!" Laurent barked. "She take my baby away from me, so I take their babies from them! She don't care, so I don't either!"

"THEY ARE NOT LILY!"

Larry tugged at his restraints angrily as he attempted to stand up in the chair and he shouted in frustration, heaving as he looked up at his brother. "These girls do nothing! They are innocent! If you will hurt someone, fucking hurt Maya! Not them, and not Caroline!"

Laurent watched as his brother fell apart in the chair and he laughed again, leaning against the wall in front of him. He crossed his arms over his chest and he looked up at the ceiling, a smirk crossing over his face.

"What is so funny, Lau?" Larry asked, his voice cracking. "Is it a game to you? Do you like this?"

"No," Laurent shrugged. "You just stupid. Caroline don't tell me nothing about going in here, brother, but you... you give her away. Now I am just thinking of what I will do to her for lying to me. She should know better."

"No," Larry said, feeling his tears prick the back of his eyelids. Laurent stood up off the wall and he walked towards the door, ignoring Larry's calls. "Oh god, Laurent do not hurt her. Please do not hurt her! Laurent, come back! Laurent!"

Larry watched helplessly as Laurent left the room, and he shouted out in agony as he tried to free himself from the restraints. He tugged at the rope relentlessly, his mind completely disregarding the stinging and burning of the rope scratching his skin. That was the last thing he was worried about. If he moved enough, he would loosen the knots of the rope and they would be off of him, but there was something stopping him. Something right down the middle.
