Warning: RAPE ⚠️
☮️
Laurent left for work an hour ago, but not without piling a bunch of chores on Caroline's back. She had to keep in mind that she was still 'owned' by him, and it wasn't a mutual thing between them. With everything he told her to do, she felt more and more disgusted about what happened this morning. There was a lot of sexual tension inside of him, and they both knew the way he wanted to release it. After she made breakfast, though, it seemed like he remembered why she was really there. He became cold and harsh towards her, and he even criticized her cooking even though it was the same thing she always made. After breakfast, she began to clean the kitchen, but he kept disrupting her and telling her to move so he could get to whatever he needed. She felt kind of used, and although nothing happened between them, she liked being around him when he was nice to her, or rough, but in the way she tolerated it. She didn't like it when he was mad at her over little things, so she made it her job to stay away from him when he got home.
She sighed irately and she picked up the list of things he told her to do, reading over them one by one. It wasn't much for her to do; she had to clean the dishes, clean the bathroom, sweep the living room and kitchen areas, and tidy up anything that was messy. This was the first time he's been specific about cleaning, so she had to make sure she kept everything spotless. Knowing him, he would definitely be checking to see if she did everything right.
She stood from her bed and she walked towards her door, leaving her room. She walked to the staircase and she went downstairs, her arms hanging loosely by her sides as she did. That day was a bad day for her to do anything he asked because her hormones were skyrocketing as she neared her period. Whenever she started feeling overwhelmed with different emotions and feelings, she knew that she would be expecting it in a few days. She just prayed today would be the only day he asked her to do something for him, especially chores.
When she reached the kitchen, she placed the list on the countertop and she turned the faucet on, getting started on the little bit of dishes in the sink. There were only some pans and bowls from the dinner they had last night and that was it. A few minutes later, she had already cleaned and put them in their rightful places. Once she was finished, she grabbed the broom from the corner by the fridge and she stood it next to her, sighing.
"Well," she said. "Time to sweep."
It was four o'clock now and Caroline knew Laurent would be coming home soon. She sat in the living room quietly, waiting on his arrival. She had done everything he asked her to do and she even cleaned up his room a little bit to top it all off. She figured since she organized his things, he wouldn't be too mad. She still couldn't figure out why he was so upset at her today; he was a completely different person. It was almost as if everything in him had shut down and he had frustration built up in him to the brim and he was letting it out on her little by little. When he got in the house, she made it her business to talk to him to see if he would open up to her. It was unusual of her to do such a thing when he's as hot as fire one minute and cold as ice the next.
She was lying against the fluffy pillows when she heard keys jingling in the door and she sat up quickly, standing to her feet. He walked inside quickly with his back turned to her as he closed the door and she eyed him in confusion. His hair wash shorter than he had it this morning, and she figured he went to get a haircut after work.
"Uh, Daddy?" Caroline said softly, watching the young man stop in his tracks. He kept his head still as he turned on his heel to face her, a frown etching across his features. Both of them stared at each other in confusion; Caroline wondering why he wasn't speaking and the man wondering why the hell she called him Daddy.
