Sunset

"Nearly done?" Sarah asks, plopping onto the bed next to me.

"No." I sigh and continue to type.

"Baby girl." Sarah flirts as she runs her hand down my back to cup my bottom.

"Sarah I need to finish this paper, I have to study, we need finish packing, I-" I'm cut off when she moves her lips to my neck and kisses her way to my ear before biting it. "Mhm."

"How about you do what mommy says?" She whispers. I sigh and lay my face in my hands. "What?"

"I'm sorry I haven't been all together lately. I'm just tired and between school, graduation preparation, and getting ready for the move I just haven't had the energy. I swear after I finish you have my full attention."

"Why don't you take a break." She shuts my laptop and pulls it away from me before sliding it onto her bedside table.

"I can't Sarah!" I try to grab my laptop but she grabs my wrist and flips my body so im on my back.

"Come on sweetheart, let me help you relax."

She climbs on top of me and I know I should keep working but god I don't have the strength to say no to her. I don't move, I feel like I have no energy left in my body.

"Baby girl?" Sarah has finally noticed my lack of interest.

"Will you just hold me?"

"What's wrong?"

I don't answer. I just pull her down beside me. Her body is tense and I can feel she's worried. I pull my shirt off then hers so I can feel her warm skin against mine. I'm drawing little circles on her shoulder and I can feel her looking at me.

"I know it's all really scary and stressful but we'll get through it." She kisses my head.

"I love you." I mumble against her chest.

"I love you."

I can feel tears threatening to fall. "Do you?"

"What?" She almost laughs but quickly stops when she feels my tears on her chest. "Oh sweetie." She tries to pull my face up by my chin to look at me but I stay still. She sighs and brings my hand to her lips before getting out of bed. "Come on."

"What?"

"Get up." She says, pulling on a bra then going to the closet. She pulls out a pair of blue jeans and a gray crop sweater for herself then reaches for my side of the closet. "This one."

She tosses me one of my sun dresses. Its pink with little flowers all over it and goes about mid thigh. "I don't wanna wear a dress Sarah."

"Come on baby girl," she pulls out a thong and tosses it to me. "For me?" Her bottom lip is popped out to make the puppy dog face that I cave to every time.

I pull the dress over my head and then change my bottoms. I put on the thong and some spandex to feel a bit more comfortable. Once my hair is fixed to sit nicely in its natural waves I throw on some deodorant and grab my white shall. Sarah grabs my face and applies a bit of makeup because she knows I hate to do it myself. I think she really enjoys doing my make up and also anything that involves her dressing and getting me ready.

"I love this dress without a bra." She smirks, playing with the spaghetti strap. I lean my head on her hand, just enjoying the attention. "Here." Sarah places my white flats in front of me before pulling on some black ankle boots with a small heel.

"You're already taller than me Sarah do you need the heel?" I ask fixing her hair so it won't fall in her face.

"Yes, I do."

She takes my hand and leads me out to the car. It is a really nice day so maybe its a good idea we take advantage of it. We get in the car and Sarah drives for about fifteen minutes before pulling over in a nature preserve parking lot.

"You had us get all dressed up to walk a trail?" I tiredly laugh.

"No of course not." She goes around to open my door but first grabs something out of the back. "I want to take some pictures of my gorgeous girl while we talk."

She holds up a fancy camera that I've only seen her use at Disney. My heart feels on fire and I pull her to kiss her. It starts out long and sweet but then flutters into little kisses Sarah leaves around my face.

"Come on."

She takes pictures of me against the wooden fence, by trees, and in the tall grass. If we drive about a half hour east we could probably find some pretty corn fields to pose in but its already getting late.

"Do I get to take some of you?" I ask after posing, sitting on a tree that had fallen some time ago.

"No Lily's coming to take some of us together."

"What?"

"What? She offered." Just then another car pulls up, a truck, and Lily jumps out.

"Hi ladies." Lily gives us both a hug then we immediately follow her back onto the trail.

She takes pictures of us everywhere just as Sarah did with my before but now its going to start getting dark. We're about to rap up when Sarah looks at me and kisses my head.

"The sun set is beautiful." She says pushing hair out of my face.

"I wouldn't know. I've been looking at you."
