"Merry Christmas!" Emma shouts as she runs to the door. We're getting ready to leave for the park.
"Christmas Eve." Sarah corrects as she throws her arm around me and escorts me to the car.
"Same difference." Emma shrugs and gets in the front.
Sarah and I sit in the back and we make our way to the park. I'm so excited, I cant help it when I squeeze her hand.
"What should we do first?" She asks once we're pulling up into the parking lot.
"We're bookin it to space mountain." I practically pull her through the park and her mom and sister follow.
"You're gonna break my arm baby girl." She laughs.
"There's no time for that we're at Disney!" I nearly scream.
"Okay okay baby."
She finally gets me to slow down when we get to the fastpass lane. We scan our wristbands and make our way through the long hallway.
"Mommy can I sit in front?" I whisper, not wanting anyone to hear me.
"Of course sweetheart." She whispers back, her lips tickle my neck.
It takes some time in line but we finally arrive after a bit. We throughout the day make our way through the park one ride at at time. Finally by 3 pm we get to the Haunted Mansion. I'm so excited! Ive seen the movie a thousand times and always wanted to see what the ride is like.
The line is long but we make it through. Sarah's mom and sister decided to sit this one out so they are going to get lunch. Once we finally get to the front of the line we are directed to step into another room. Once the area is filled up the door closes and the lights go dim. Theres a crack of thunder from the speaker, the lights flicker off, and I grab onto Sarah's arm.
"Welcome, foolish mortals.." A dark voice over the speaker.
"Are you okay?" Sarah laughs.
I smile and nod but squeeze her arm a little tighter. She kisses my head and takes my hand go lead me when everyone starts to file out. We're lead to the front where we load into the cart.
"It's freezing in here." I take my sweater off and throw it over my legs and Sarah does the same with hers.
"Enjoy the ride." A worker says the we're off.
"Its so dark in here." I whisper and pull her towards me. I hold on to her arm and her hand rests on my leg. "Its scary."
"Awe baby girl." She smiles then moves her hang to the inside of my thigh. "Should I take your mind off of it?"
