"There is no better way of saying this, but you're fired." "Mr. Han, what are you talking about?" "Mrs. Jones, I can't keep you here; you're over eighty years old, and I've already paid your leave, so please make your way out the door." Mr. Hans rubbed his forehead from arguing with her. The old woman sighed as she heard those words, "Yes, sir." Aurora watched this entire scene and anxiously looked at that poor old woman. She's been working here for fourteen years, and there she goes. Bye-bye, Mrs. Jones, the best muffin maker.

"Miss Solace" "Yes sir" Aurora jumped slightly at the mention of her name. "Please make me a cup of coffee; I'll be in my office." "Yes sir," excusing herself out of his office. She breathed out a heavy sigh. Aurora kept wondering if she would get fired. The thoughts came running through her mind as she prepared coffee for him; it was recently that she thought he would fire her based on rumors of the job position, but that never scared her until witnessing what happened in front of her eyes.

She's heard Japanese people can be mean and aggressive, but that's just a stereotype. It's not real, is it? "Miss Solace?" Aurora turned her head to whoever called her. "The kettle; are you done making coffee?" Oh crap, I must have zoned out. "Sorry, here you go." Aurora purred the hot water into his mug, she never questioned why he liked black coffee, nor would she. "One hot coffee as ordered," She said walking into his office, placing the scorching mug down on his desk. "Thank you, Miss Solace," he said taking a sip of the coffee and placing it down, not bothering to even glance at her. "Is there anything else I can do for you? Oh, you have a call from Mr. Mason at five o'clock" Aurora said walking closer to him. "Not right now; I'll call if I need anything, thank you." "Alright," she replied walking out and into her own.

Aurora's office was a desk and drawer that was connected to his office, only closed off by a glass wall and a door, if anyone had to see him they would have to confirm with her first. Aurora had her laptop, with the little things I'd decorated on it consisting of a plant and paperwork all organized by color, it was like her own comfy space at work, even though she was right beside his office; Aurora didn't mind the placement of her desk Aurora wasn't the reception or anything just his. Being his assistant wasn't all play and no work. Aurora was to strictly handle all his meetings and paperwork, as well as confide in all the models and judge them; sometimes, hell, he would let her watch them model with him, but that alone was more work. Enjoyable work over. He is not a bad boss; in fact, he even leaves sweets on her desk, especially chocolate, and on her birthday or special occasions he leaves roses. Well, suppose it may be from the sweet jar but, it's something.

Aurora would categorize herself as a glorified assistant for him, which means work would end when he does, but begin when he doesn't. when he does or requests to leave early, even so, Aurora would do her best and put in her all. "Hello, Miss Solace speaking, Mr. Han's office, how may I help you today?". There are good days when it's normal people and bad days when people yell and scream, but Aurora always has the pleasure of completely blocking their number on the office contact line. Today was a good day; nothing out of the ordinary happened. Aurora turned to look at the night sky, it got late pretty quickly; today went faster than normal.

"Miss Solace" "Yes, Mr. Han." Aurora turned her chair to face him. "You may go home; I'll stay here and finish some paperwork," he said. Every alternative night he would stay late to finish paperwork. "Alright, thank you. Goodnight, Mr. Han." "Goodnight, Miss Solace," he said walking away. Every night we leave like this: he says goodnight, and she says goodnight. Aurora would walk past his office and wave. He smiles, and she goes home. Aurora got into her car and drove back home; the distance between her house and the office was not a long one. "I'm home," because of the distance, and she has never been late. Aurora hasn't lived with anyone since she moved, and the occasional friend sleepovers. "Hello, Doro," she whispered in her cat's ear as she rubbed her. Doro was resting peacefully on the couch, getting her fur everywhere.

Aurora found Doro outside in a box one day as she was doing an early morning jog. She picked him up and has taken care of him ever since. It wasn't a wonder why no one wanted to adopt the cat since he was completely black and those were still associated with bad luck, considering how cats act Doro was the sweetest boy in the world. On nights like these, Aurora would spend her last minutes reading books she was so deeply in love with. It has her good, 'Along Came A Spider' by 'James Patterson'

Aurora turned to look outside as she gazed at the night sky, watching the stars twinkle and glitter, as they made the dark blanket that covered the earth look more beautiful than ever. 'This world is hard and tuff, but don't let that get you down; there are good days and bad days, so glow up and get up' The poster above her bed stood with nothing, but the rising sun as its cover. Aurora was ready to go to sleep in her bed, snuggled nice and toasty until she was alerted by the vibration of her phone.

Sighing Aurora took her phone switching it on. It was a message from Mr. Han, "I need you at work early tomorrow; I have something important I need to discuss with you. Have a good night Miss Solace" Aurora didn't respond to it, so she just turned her phone off. 'Is he planning on firing me too, like he did today with Miss Jones?' she thought not wanting to reply to the message as she was tired and not ready to answer that just yet. Maybe she was being stupid about it and he just needs her help with an important business offer? Well, whatever the case might be, Aurora surely didn't want to be late.
