Nothing felt better than to sleep in; to Aurora, it was the best feeling ever; the comfort was so heavenly that she ended up falling asleep over and over again until the realization that her alarm was going off for the past hour dawned on her. The blankets went flying as she quickly hit snooze and got up. 'Mr. Han wanted me early at work, didn't he?' She mumbled with tired eyes. "Oh shit, I'm late." jumping out of bed and into the shower, put the toaster on, get her clothes, her chaotic mess was left disheveled on the ground.

She was seriously late. After her fiasco of rushing to get done and driving to work, cursing at every red light she stopped at, she finally made it to work all in one piece. Entering work smiling sweetly at everyone patting strands of her hair down just before entering  Mr. Han's office. "Mr. Han, I'm here. I'm so sorry, I'm late" Practically stumbling on her own two feet knocking on his door to alert him, she was there, never mind the door already being wide open.

"Good morning, Miss Solace" Aurora blinked her eyes a few times, confused. "Y-You asked me to be early, and I slept through my alarm, so I thought I was late since you messaged me last night." "My apologies for sending that message so late I did not think you would oversleep today ." A frog made an appearance in her throat "I do apologize for that it won't happen again, you know I am always on time" "You are right, I rely on you Miss Solace Aurora took a glance in his mirror and realized she looked terrible. Aurora walked over to the mirror and fixed myself. "But, Mr. Han, you said you needed me here early," Aurora said playing with the strands of her hair, making it look decent enough to walk around people.

"Yes, I did, but I've already sorted out the matter, so don't worry, just please don't let this happen again; I'm counting on you," he smiled at Aurora, watching her manic state before looking back down at his work. "Absolutely," Aurora turned around to glance at him, but his face was so fixed upon his computer. Aurora felt bad about being late; it sounded like he needed her. 'Those damn blankets' she thought, if sleep wasn't her enemy she wouldn't fall asleep so easily.

"You may leave. Miss Solace, I left some paperwork and a few numbers I want you to call; they're for our modeling agencies." Aurora nodded her head and left; as soon as she did leave his office, she felt awful. "Maybe if I make him a cup of coffee, he'll feel better? Or in this case, I'll feel better," Aurora thought as she walked over to the break room. Walking in Aurora didn't expect to see anyone so early in the break room when her eyes landed on her unfamiliar woman with strawberry blonde hair that cascaded down her dress that looked a bit too short for the office.

Although Aurora was still learning everyone's name even working here for some time this woman stood out completely to her; she definitely would have noticed someone she had never seen before. And all of a sudden, a thought came to mind. 'Mr. Han said he got help from someone else' The thought made her think 'Will he replace her with me?' The dumb thought started running on repeat in her mind. Aurora shook her head as she made her way towards the coffee stand, staring at her as she brewed her coffee. The mysterious employee took a quick look at Aurora as she still stared at her until she once again looked at her. "Can I help you?" she said as she blew slightly on her coffee. She had a British accent that rolled so easily off her tongue.

"Oh, nothing, I just-" "Haven't you seen me before? I know, darling, I'm new here, so I stand out like a sore thumb," she said as she finished up the coffee. Aurora stood in awe as she began making Mr. Han's coffee. "Well, I best be going, or else the coffee will get cold and no one likes cold coffee," The strange woman said running her sharp red nails down Aurora's arm before she was no longer in her sight. 'No one likes cold coffee', Aurora muttered to herself. Who does she think she is with that act and the 'I stand out, oh everyone likes me' Aurora felt furious in a sense, not only was she late this morning, but now she has to deal with people at work that just gives off the vibe of 'Work life will be hell now that I'm here'.

"Miss Solace," Aurora jerked her head towards the person who uttered her name, "Hmm?" She hummed, "You're in the way." Aurora was so in her thoughts forgetting where she was moving out of the way for him she made her way to Mr. Hans's office with the coffee, just the way he liked it. Just before she walked into his office, Aurora spotted her in his office with coffee as well 'This can't be good' she thought.

Aurora was about to turn around when Mr. Han spotted her. "Miss Solace, come in." Aurora had forgotten that glass walls meant he could see out and she could see in; so there was nowhere she could run off to now. Her legs felt numb as if they didn't want to move, Aurora didn't want to, yet she couldn't say no to her boss "Yes, Mr. Han," Aurora said, walking into his office. "You made yourself coffee?" he asked as Aurora looked at him and smiled her mouth opening just a gap not able to get the words out yet "I made it for you, sir," Aurora managed to utter as she held it firmly in her hand. His hand wanted to reach out and take it, but the realization that there was another coffee cup on his desk made him hesitant.

Aurora looked at the cup and back to him with puppy eyes as he smiled at her, he knew she made him coffee to make up for being late and he trusted her coffee making enough it drink it every "I'll have two cups today," "But-" "No, it's a punishment on me for you being late this morning even though I did tell you," he said as he leaned back and blew the hot, steamy coffee before taking a sip. "Then again, I did message you at a late time of the night, so it wasn't your fault completely; I should have been mindful of the time you sleep." Aurora sighed at him as he just smiled at her. "Ahem" Both their heads were jerked to the third person in the room. "Oh right, Miss Solace, this is Becky Hart; she was transferred from Bright Port; so I would love you to train her."

Aurora smiled hiding the absolute dread she felt in her stomach for this woman "Of course, Mr. Han, I'll do my best." "Great now, off you girls go. I've got paperwork that needs to be filed, oh, and Miss Solace I have a meeting with Mr. Mason you could call him and transfer him to me please" "I'm on it" Aurora nodded her head and gestured for Becky to follow her outside. Once they left his office, Aurora grabbed some paperwork that seemed easy enough for her to do and asked if she should show her around and if she knew if she had her workspace, but what she said shocked her. "Oh, you care?" Aurora just stared at her for a moment. "I have a workspace; you can leave me alone. I saw you guys have some hot employees here, and I'd prefer them to help me around. If I need any help, I will not come around to you," she said walking off. Aurora stood in shock at her entire attitude, 'did she not care about this job enough to at least be a little nice?' Aurora watched as she came up to a male employee and immediately started flirting with them.
