He wouldn't stop laughing the whole ride, and even now he wouldn't stop laughing. Not even three hours into the day he won't stop laughing; Aurora is his damn assistant for crying out; he has to look at her. The entire situation was funny from his point of view, but Aurora still didn't see why he continued laughing. Aurora decided not to see him at all today, so hopefully, he will calm down from it tomorrow. "Guess who's back in business," Aurora heard a familiar voice say as she lifted my head from the laptop to see who was standing in front of her.

"Oh my goodness, you're back early, Rob!" Aurora said, getting up to hug her work friend, "What are you doing back so early?" "Well, apparently they heard about Mr. Stick Up His Ass going to that premiere event and sent me back to prepare." "That's great," she replied, beaming while sitting down and carrying on with her work. "Although" he spoke as he sat on her desk, adjusting his position to a more comfortable seat. "I heard you and him are going together," he said. Aurora slightly froze at this forbidden information.

"How do you know?" She asked, carrying on with her work, trying her utter best to not make any eye contact whatsoever. " The whole faculty knows." Shit, "Why do they know that?" Aurora's concentration was on Rob not bothering to open work files; if the rest of the colleagues knew about this, it would cause severe gossip: "Why is everyone knowing a big thing?" "Because I didn't want people to think he's giving me special treatment or make them feel uncomfortable or worse I'm sleeping with him, I don't think everyone here likes me, especially since Becky left." Rob tilted his head and raised his eyebrows. "Becky?" "It's a long story."

"Don't tell me you're sleeping with him." "I am not!" Aurora protested very quickly to defend herself from this very false accusation. "I'm his assistant his personal, so it makes sense he would want me to tag along." "I mean it wasn't something he told everyone about, but when he made plans he included you in you know management planning, you'll be leaving together soon apparently." "How soon?" She asked, "It's probably best you go talk to him since he asked me to call you into his office," Rob, bit his lip giving, me this look in his eyes. 'Oh no, not another laughing fit with him again' she thought. "Fine, now off my desk so I can leave," Aurora said as he bounced off her desk, "Good luck," he told her before she stepped inside his office. "You called?" Aurora said, knocking twice before entering fully into his workspace, "Yes, please take a seat." Aurora made a mental note to be calm and collected so he wouldn't freak out or she would overreact, but to her luck, she striped over her own two feet falling face first on the ground "Miss Solace" Mr. Han said running over to her helping her up "Are you alright?" he asked staring at her intently moving strands of her hair away "Yes, I'm fine"

Aurora looked at him admiring how dark his eyes were, he was inching away from her face, Aurora felt her heart beat faster as they got up together "Not laughing are we?" "Why would I hurt you got hurt" They stayed like that for a few minutes before Mr. Han cleared his throat and walked over to his desk "Good, please be careful" Aurora slowly made my way to take a seat in front of his desk and gave her undivided attention to him. She felt nervous, and a wave of questions flooded her head "Yes?" This was serious. Aurora started bouncing her leg in anticipation. "We have to leave tomorrow." "Tomorrow!" Aurora exclaimed fighting to be calm and collected; her eyes were practically popping out of her face. "Yes, I am sorry that it's so short notice, but everyone is available to leave and get a hotel tomorrow. The date was moved closer to the time, I am very sorry that this is unexpected"

Hotel? That sounds fancy. "I see." Aurora began to think, looking down, thinking, 'What am I going to do? What do I need for this? How am I supposed to dress for this?' "It's just a fancy evening, so there's not anything you need, so extra clothes and your toothbrush and done, you're ready. I understand this is your first time." "I'll be packing more than that." "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning early say around eight so we can leave; it's a long journey, and I bet you'd like to look around the place." Aurora nodded in agreement. "Great, and don't worry, your work will be taken care of so you don't fall behind in any sort of way." That's a relief, Aurora thought. "So, I need you to promise me something." "Hmm?" Aurora hummed, listening very closely.

"Promise me you'll stay by me and come with me; I can't imagine what I'd do if I lost you there somewhere or if someone took you or even did something." Aurora smiled; he cared about her; it made her heart warm knowing this and also slightly offended her thinking she would get lost. "I'm not a baby; I can look after myself," Aurora said, raising an eyebrow as she smiled like a dork. "Yes, but I will be taking you as my responsibility, so no funny business and no getting lost randomly. I would appreciate it if you were with me at all times" "I promise I won't do anything dumb." "Mr. Han, the head of Refined, is here for your meeting," one of her work colleagues came in.

Mr. Han adjusted himself and nodded his head. "I'll be right there," he stood up glancing at her with a small smile "Please excuse me; I have to go. Would you like to continue our conversation later?" he asked. "No, I'm fine. I'll get back to work," Aurora said smiling back at him before he was no longer in the room anymore. Aurora walked out of his office, catching a glimpse of the head of Refined, although she had seen him before, but never in person or up close in person. He is probably here to talk about the premiere event taking place. "You do like him." "I do not think such things about my boss." Rob gave her a smirk before leaving. Aurora sat back at her desk staring at her blank laptop. "Does he think of me like that?" Aurora sighed shaking her head to clear the thoughts away.
