Calm down, you're just sitting next to your future mother in law if even it's possible to call her that, so no pressure even though you're at her house and she can easily kick you out.

No pressure!

I watched as the clouds moved passed the moon, it's a beautiful night tonight you could see the stars so perfectly as it twinkled in the sky "Miss L/N" I turned to look at Miss Hanyu, she was still smoking a cigarette the smoke around her looked like frog to the naked eye, she wore a white blouse and navy jeans with a pair or jet black high heels; she held a stern expression on her face as she stared at me, studying me head to toe. I was nervous as to why she was staring at me so intently for so long until she spoke.

"You and my son aren't just working together are you?" my eyebrows rose as my heart began to beat faster. How did she catch on so quick? were we really that obvious "W-what do you mean?" I said still trying to hide the fact that Hiroto and I were in fact in a relationship.

"My son won't just be nice to anyone or for that matter be very close so someone" she spoke before blowing out smoke "I raised my son I know how he acts regardless if I practiaclly never see him" she paused for a little collecting her thoughts as I sat there in silent.

"You and my son aren't just work colleagues are you" she said raising her one eyebrow smirking at me; I sighed lowering my head in defeat "No, we're not" I stayed quiet as she laughed before killing her cigarette on the ground stepping on it.

"You're playing a dangerous game here Miss L/N" I lifted my head and watched as Miss Hanyu stood up and began walking towards the sliding door that connectes the outside and the house "You're not good enough" my heart stopped, I froze on the stop hearing those words.

"You're not good enough"

Why would she say that? Is it because I'm not rich or own companies?

"I'm not scared"

I said standing up, Miss Hanyu stopped in her tracks and turned around to face me just before she reached the door.

"I-I'm not scared"

Miss Hanyu took three steps towards me before she stopped in place, her eyes were on mine I didn't dare blink "Is this a joke?" "No one's laughing, so I guess not" "ha" she said folding her arms "What do you want from my son exactly?" "Nothing" "Then why date him?" "Because I l-"

I took in a deep breath as I cleared my head and pushed away any thoughts that would somehow distract me.

"I love him"

Breath

"I love him wholeheartedly"

"You can't love someone under such a short amount of time" "You can and I did, besides those factors don't you think Hiroto is happy with me" "Not one bit" she shot daggers at me, if looks could kill I'd be as good as dead.

"Y/N, with all due respect and I say this with no offense in any way shape or form. You are not going to be with Hiroto long" "And why's that?" I had no hesitation when I spoke to her maybe it was the alcohol that gave me more courage to speak to her with such confidence or perhaps I was upset with the fact that she'd judge me so quickly without even giving me a chance.

I was fighting for approval I was fighting for Hiroto "He needs to thrive in he's work so our legacy can go on our future generation my grandkids need to be on the top number one carrying our name for more years to come, you will destroy that by distracting him from he's work by making him soft and unwilling to do he's job" "I'm a distraction because of what happened with the bomb accident? Are you saying it's my fault?" "Who else am I to blame? If you hadn't been there things would of been handled quickly and without such a big ruckus to the public"

I couldn't believe my ears, she wasn't even showing one bit of empathy towards me regarding what happened when everyone else did.

"If you hate me so much why did you invite me over?" "Oh please don't flatter yourself I didn't invite you over because I wanted to, this was something he's brothers wanted and an opportunity for me to investigate" "Did you get the information you were searching for then?" "Sweetheart you are right in front of me, I'm sure you'd be able to answer that question"

I clenched my hands into a fist, my nails were digging into my skin as I bit down on my tongue to prevent me from saying anything I shouldn't, I stayed quiet not knowing if I should continue or give up; I had nothing left to say.

"If you have nothing to say I hope you don't mind me leaving, I have a ceremony to attend tomorrow" I lowered my head in defeat not knowing if I should continue our conversation or not.

"So you're telling me-" I beckoned just before she could take a step inside the house, her eyebrows were frowned at me as she waited impatiently for what I had to say.

"You don't accept me as Hiroto's girlfriend" she smirked before placing her hand on her hip "Hiroto shouldn't be playing around, if he wanted to get married then he should have came to me, I have plenty of girls in line to marry him unlike Yuki that really came out of no where but anyway" she sighed before continuing.

"No, I don't accept you as a well made match for my son and I don't think I ever will, you have caused too much trouble for him" my breathing had gotten slower as she spoke, I didn't answer I had no answer to give.

"Goodnight Miss L/N"

Was the last words she spoke before she had left and I was left alone with nothing but my thoughts.
