Chapter Twelve

Aurora's eyes fluttered open as the sun rays spilled into the room causing a golden shine to decorate the room and waking her from her slumber, Aurora slowly lifted herself from the covers revealing her naked self, when she noticed this she immediately covered herself. A headache suddenly hit causing her to place a hand on her head "Ugh alcohol is not good for me "Her memory was fogged and unclear, she was in a haze. Aurora turned to her side seeing a peaceful body sleeping next to her. Aurora gasped at the sudden realization 'I slept with my boss' she thought, Aurora rubbed the temple of her head trying to soothe the headache unable to even remember what happened.

Aurora heard him groan slightly moving himself to turn away from the sun, Aurora immediately hid under the covers trying to pretend she was still sleeping. Aurora tried to remember everything that happened how they even got here in the first place what made them sleep together. Aurora heard Hiroto yawn before he too sat up rubbing his tired eyes, Aurora shut her eyes and pretended to make light snoring noises to seal the deal she didn't even know if she did snore, but it was worth a shot if she wanted to hide. Aurora couldn't even think her brain felt like it was acid, at this point, she was just breathing loudly.

Aurora felt the bed get lighter followed by footsteps leading to the bathroom, Aurora heard the shower turn; she thought now was a good time to lift the covers from her head and scan the room for a clock, and when she did find one on the nightstand it read half past ten. They did oversleep, but she couldn't deny it was probably the best sleep she had in her life. Aurora almost jumped when she heard the door open hurrying under the covers not covering her face completely forgetting to make fake snoring sounds, hoping he wouldn't notice she was awake. Aurora heard him place something on the nightstand sounding a lot like a glass Aurora felt his hand land on her head as he brushed her hair down to her shoulders a few times, the feeling was comforting almost putting her back to sleep. Aurora was surprised when she felt a pair of lips on her head, the sudden act of affection made her eyes flutter open her eyes landed on his; he was smiling sweetly as her she wasn't even awake and he was smiling looking at her. "Oh, my apologies, did I wake up?" Aurora returned the sweet smile rubbing her face against the covers "No don't worry about it; I'm still sleeping" Hiroto laughed 

"Good morning, sunshine," he said pulling the covers over my exposed shoulders keeping me warm "Good morning, weren't you in the shower a second ago?" "Oh, so you were awake?" "I mean I was trying to get back to sleep?" "My apologies then, I just wanted to see if you're well and aren't feeling ill." Aurora smiled before nodding her head, she looked over the nightstand to see if she was right it was a glass of water that looked a bit contaminated with some sort of substance in it. "I made you lemon water with  a hint of ginger I would have gotten us breakfast, but they only serve downstairs room services aren't as good here apparently." Aurora brushed it off she need breakfast in bed right now she wanted answers "Thank you, but, um, do you remember anything from last night?" Aurora sheepishly asked sitting up and holding the blankets to cover her naked self.

His face erupted in a shade of pink on his cheeks, looking away rubbing the back of his neck "Uh yes, I do remember what happened." Aurora's face mirrored his, her head buried under the blankets "I'm sorry about that, I should have not said anything," Hiroto moved her hands away from her face "Why are you sorry?" He said grabbing her hand and rubbing her knuckles with his thumb "You spoke your mind, and I appreciate everything you said to me." Aurora didn't know what to say, she was staring at him in awe, he moved closer to her placing his lips on hers before pulling away. The kiss felt so unreal as if he kissed her for the first time, her stomach had butterflies and her smile widened  "As much as I want us to stay like this, we have to get back to work unfortunately," Hiroto got up grabbing her bag and placing it next to her as he put on a normal plain white shirt "Where are you going?" "I figured you'd be more comfortable if you got dressed in private, I already took a quick shower so I'll let you get done in the meantime I'll try and sneak some breakfast up here for us" Aurora nodded her head "Drink up and I'll see you in a bit," he said smiling at her leaving the room.

Aurora fell with her head first onto the pillow she couldn't believe what happened was real, it was conflicting to feel so happy about something yet too ashamed of it at the same time. She accepted and confessed her feelings to him, but at the same time, she didn't know if he was just being nice or if he had feelings for her. Aurora began picking up her clothes that were scattered across the room 'Why is my bra all the way there yet I'm so close to the bed' she thought rubbing her lower back she felt slight pain there, it wasn't unbearable, but she felt uncomfortable. She grabbed her bra hanging on the TV throwing it on the bed before heading to the bathroom to shower, the hot water felt ever so refreshing as she rubbed herself clean using the last of the fancy soaps to get the sex off her body. Aurora still couldn't process the utter fact that she had slept with her boss as if it wasn't the number one rule in a business. Walking out of the shower Aurora felt a sense of happiness that Becky couldn't bring her down ever again.
