Aurora woke up early. No sleeping in, no mother being weird and asking her embarrassing questions. She was safe, unfortunately for them they weren't as lucky as Aurora. "I'm sorry; I didn't know the traffic would be bad on this road." He apologized Aurora shook her head, smiling at him. "No problem; we are still early if I'm correct." "Very," he replied calmly sitting back, Aurora too pushed her seat back placing her sunglasses on to relax in the traffic jam. "I wonder what might have caused this traffic jam," Mr. Han said as he stuck his head out the window, trying to take a peek at what happened. "Any luck?" Aurora asked, curious if it was just a red light that wouldn't change or if it was a serious accident. "I can't see anything, only cars, and cars, and guess what else?" he asked as he gave her a charming smile. "An elephant?" she replied.
He laughed, "How adorable, but sadly no, the correct answer was more cars." "Oh darn, I thought I saw one." "Did I miss the circus we drove past?" he joked along. "Possibly." They laughed for a bit, making a few jokes here and there as they finally got out of the traffic jam. Aurora couldn't be happier, she thought she would have to bring out some knock-knock jokes if they sat there any longer in silence. "Mind if I changed the station?" Aurora asked Mr. Han politely although they were listening to his music since it was his car, Aurora wanted to hear the news in case something happened on that road or what might happen at the place they were going. Just to be safe.
"By all means you may," he replied as she adjusted the radio on the car to a more newsworthy topic to listen to. Aurora felt extremely comfortable in his car, enough to roll down his window and stick her hand out, she wondered why Eric wasn't the one driving, but when asked she was taken aback by being told he was driving right behind them; as well as a bodyguard tagging along with. Aurora wondered why he needed a bodyguard with him, but didn't question it at all thinking that was probably why he had her promise to stay by his side. Aurora closed her eyes and listened to the radio carefully as the wind blew her hair, going in all directions. Thank goodness she tied my hair up, or else it would have gotten messy. Before, they said anything important on the radio station; it played some music, old music. Aurora knew most of the songs they played, and they even played them on repeat. "You look like you're enjoying yourself," Aurora heard Mr. Han speak. "Are you watching me?" she asked glancing at him; his gaze was too focused to look at her to respond. "Maybe," she laughed.
Aurora was really glad he asked her to accompany him on this, she really did want to go since she heard about it a while ago, but never really cared about it nor did she think she would get the chance to go, but now that Mr. Han asked her and talked her into it "We're almost there," he said "Good cause I think I'm getting car sick" Aurora said hanging her head out of the car for fresh air "Please don't throw up in my car" She completely ignored him, trying to distract herself Aurora looked over at Mr. Han in casual clothes since she has always seen him in his work clothes which consists of a business suit and different color ties every day. "And we're here," Aurora glued her face towards the big, fancy, glowing hotel they would be staying at. It was nothing like Aurora had seen before; it looked as if it were made of gold and white silk; from head to toe, the building was screaming fancy. "Oh shit," Aurora whispered. "Language, Miss Solace." "Sorry," she muttered, realizing it would be more professional since he is still her boss outside the office.
Soon they eventually found parking close to the exit so they could leave when the time came for their departure. Aurora let Mr. Han lead the way and check in with the hotel staff because she didn't know what to do or say, he didn't mind doing it as he knew exactly what room was booked. Aurora thought looking around the place wouldn't hurt of course not going too far Mr. Han couldn't see her, and it made her feel slightly uneasy being treated like a kid but also the security that was around. They don't do much to her eyes except stand close and watch them. Aurora grabbed Mr. Han's and her league so I could watch over it while he was busy, but before she could get the chance Eric stopped her "There is a lot to carry are you sure you don't want help? I don't mind" "Please Miss Solace let us carry it no need for help" Aurora smiled at both of them nodding her head before turning around and looking around more, the place was very busy everyone running around and making lines
Mr. Han had finally left the desk heading over to her, "Let's go to our room." Aurora blinked her eyes a few times thinking she might have heard him wrong "Our room?" she questioned as he signaled Eric to follow with their luggage "Yes, the whole hotel is booked for this, so we have to share a room, and because I would feel more comfortable with you in my room in case something happened, remember our promise." Aurora could feel her face getting warmer, her thoughts rushing to places it shouldn't "Unless you feel uncomfortable, then I can arrange something else." "No, it's fine, I don't mind," Aurora said trying to hide the obvious pink on her cheeks.
'What would anyone give to be sharing a room with their boss' she thought, "Miss Solace?" Mr. Han called, but Aurora was so deep in thought she didn't hear him, a warm hand was brushed against hers and immediately she was snapped back into reality "Sorry I'm just a little overwhelmed" "We can rest in the room I will give you space if that's what you need" "Thank you" even in the elevator they were silent not saying a word to each other. When they reached their room Eric placed their luggage down before leaving saying he would be outside if they needed anything. Aurora couldn't wrap her head around the fact that he was so calm about sharing a room; it would raise so much suspicion, not to mention HR would so hear from this "You know," he spoke opening his bags. "Yes?" Aurora waited for a reply while picking up her bags making sure she did not forget anything. "I'm glad I took you with me," he's words rolled off his tongue so smoothly as if they were meant to be said to her. Aurora smiled "Me too"
