I'm here-Kita Shinsuke

Possible spoilers if you haven't finished reading Inarizaki vs Karasuno. Also sorry if he sounds a bit OC.

2nd person pov

It was a tough match. They really tried their best. But in the end, Karasuno won. You expected your brothers quick to work but life doesn't work out like that, does it. You cried at Kita's words. It was like reality hit you, that it was your last match with the team.

But, his words did end up motivating your stupid twin brothers, so something good did come out of that match.

On the way back to the school, you couldn't stop thinking about Kita. How was he able to not cry? It was your last game as their manager and even you were crying. You just couldn't understand. How was he able to act so tough?

You were met with the hugs of your parents as they told you 'good job'. 'Tsumu and 'Samu were both just too tired that they just ended up falling asleep while hugging your parents. It was kind of funny to see them act like 8 year olds again.

However, 'Tsumu and 'Samu left some of their stuff in gym so you went to go grab them. What you didn't expect was to see the gym lights on and what shocked you more was seeing Kita in there. He was just standing there like he was saying his last goodbye to the gym.

However, you were even more shocked to see him let a tear roll down his face. You decided to leave him alone, since he would prefer not to have someone see him cry. But he noticed you before you could leave.

"Miya-san?" And you turned around sheepishly and waved at him.

"Sorry, I was just coming here to grab 'Tsumu's and 'Samu's stuff. I'll just quickly grab them." You expected him to just stay quiet and let you grab the stuff and leave, but he kept talking to you.

"What are you planning on doing after you leave school?" You never really thought about those kind of things, even though you were in your last year of high school.

"I don't know what I want to do, but all I know is that I have a wonderful and simple life. You know like finish university, get a job, fall in love, get married and have kids." You always wanted that kind of lifestyle.

Nothing too complicated or troublesome. Just a sweet, simple life.

He smiled at your words but you didn't notice the tiny smile on his mouth.

"What about you Kita-san?" And he gave a pondering face and just kind of looked a bit shy.

"Well it's kind of weird but I want to be a rice farmer in the future. You can laugh if you want." And you didn't. You just gave him a smile.

"That sounds amazing Kita." And he smiled back at you. And you couldn't believe your eyes. You saw him smile so brightly it made your heart race. He was acting so strange today. He was smiling and talking so happily.

But he quickly wiped the smile off his face, he looked at you with a serious face. "Hey Y/N?" He called you by your first name and it surprised you since he always only used your last name.

"Yes Kita?" You looked at him questioning what he would want to say.

"I'm sorry about that time I rejected you." And it hit you like a truck. Yes, you confessed your feelings to him and he rejected you. Nothing you could have done about the situation.

"Kita, please go out with me!" Your heart was beating fast as you told him your feelings. The feelings you kept secret for two years. It was your final year and you didn't want to finish it without telling him your feelings.
