2nd person pov

Being tall had its perks, you could reach tall shelfs, you don't have to worry about not being able to see over people and the list goes on. However, as a girl, it was tough.

You are never able to find clothes in your size, you can't wear heels since you will be even taller, and you can never find a guy taller than you. Of course personality mattered more than anything, but you would have liked it if you had someone taller than you, so the would make you feel like a normal girl.

Also, with your height, a lot of boys wouldn't like you since it would damage their "masculinity" with was a load of bullshit in all honesty. Why would height have anything to do with being a man? Like look at Yaku, even though he is short, he is a bigger man than most guys.

Speaking of Yaku, you always feel bad that Lev would always pick on him, even though he does end up getting hit. You must be thinking that 'oh, isn't Lev taller than you?' And sadly, no. You were about 5cm taller than him.

Yep you were taller than that beanpole, however, it did have his perks. Like being able to tease him for being shorter than you.

"Yaku-san, how does it feel not being able to reach the shelf's?" Which definitely he received a kick in return. You sighed. You weren't the type to make fun but Alec definitely deserved it.

"Says you Lev. You can't even be taller than me, how can you even make fun of Lev." He looked at you with a weird facial expression that you couldn't describe properly.

"Huh? Yeah, you are taller than me, but at least I ca get a girlfriend. You probably won't find someone taller than you, so you'll stay single forever. I mean who would date such a tall girl?" You glared at him.

"Lev! Shut up!" Yaku yelled, but the damage was already done.

"Yeah, you are right. No one would date a "giant" girl like me." With that you walked away without giving a single chance for him to say anything.

"Lev, you idiot! You don't say that to a girl!" Lev looked at him with a confused face.

"Why? It was just the truth." Yaku only sighed and face palmed.

"To think I actually thought you had a crush on her." Lev was shocked.

"Ehhh?!! Why would I like her?!" At this point, Yaku could only question how dumb and clueless this beanpole is.

"Well, you always hang around and try to make fun of her, you look at her when she is not looking and you always try to act "cool" around her." Lev was still confused and Yaku could see that.

Yaku sighed at his stupidity. "Let me just ask, if Y/N was to find a boyfriend, would you like that or even be happy for her?"

"Yeah, of course!"

"So you don't mind Me or Kurō or even Kenma asking her out?" At that moment, Lev stayed silent.

"Sort out your feelings before it's too late." And with that Kenma left him alone.

For the next few days you ignored Lev like the plague. You were of course hurt by what he said, what he said about you being tall or not getting a boyfriend didn't hurt you. It was the fact that he wouldn't even consider dating you.

To think you had a stupid crush on him, the clueless beanpole. "Y/N." You turned around to see Kenma right in front of you.

"I heard what Lev said to you. You okay?" You smiled at his kindness. Kenma was truly a good person.

"Yes, talking to you made me a lot better." He smiled slightly back at you.

"Don't listen to what he says. That beanpole doesn't even realise his feelings for you." You laugh lightly until you realised what he just said.

"Wait what?!" What you didn't realise was that Lev was watching both you and Kenma. He didn't realise why is heart ached so much seeing you interact with him.

The last call was when you laughed. Something just awoke in him and he just went up to you and Kenma. He gave a fake smile to him. "Kenma-san, I'll be borrowing Y/N for a bit. See you later."

You didn't even have a chance to fathom everything and barely managed to yell out a goodbye. "Ah- see your later Kenma!" Lev grit his teeth even harder and walked away even faster.

Kenma smiled knowing his and Yaku's plan worked completely. "L-Lev, what's going on? Why did you do that?" Why did he do that he thought.

Why was he acting this way. Why was his heart feeling this way. Why did he feel like crying. He eventually stopped walking. "Lev?"

He slammed you against the wall, trapping you between his arms. "I- I don't know why I'm acting like this! I don't know why my heart is hurting like this! I don't know why I can't get you out of my head!" You could only listen to him in silence, your heart swelling at his words.

You have never seen him act so sincere. When he let a tear roll down his face, you kissed it away. He looked at you shocked, "It's okay if you feel uncertain right now. I'll just wait till you are sure of what you are feeling."

Then he unexpectedly hugged you tightly. "Thank you." You smiled and hugged him back. For the first time in ages, you felt like a normal girl on his arms.

Bonus extra:

"But I won't date you till you are taller than me!" He basically did a 360 and looked at you with shock.

"Ehhh?!! But then why did you say you'll wait for me?!" You giggle at his expression.

"I said I would wait for you, not date you." He sighed in disappointment and sadness.

You realised how much work this guy is going to be. You kissed his cheek and just said, "I'll wait for you, so don't make me wait too long okay?" He looked at you with determination.

"Just you wait! I'll be way taller than you! Give me three months!" You laugh at him.

"You are going to need a bit longer than that. But thank you." He looked at you, confused on why you are saying thank you.

"For what?"

"For making me feel like a normal girl."
