Infant-Kita Shinsuke

Part 3/6 of the requests by Newtthygingercat . Also could be considered a part 2 of the "child" one shot I did a while back. It might suck a bit but I hope you enjoy it!☺️

2nd person POV

You were minding your own business in the library, just quietly studying while waiting for your boyfriend to finish practice. It was peaceful. Until the two biggest idiots came to ruin that.

"Y/N-senpaiiiiiiii we have a code red!" Atsumu yelled out in the library, earning glares from the librarians and some students. You felt embarrassed when everyone's eyes were on you and the twins.

"Atsumu keep your voice down! This is a library!" You whisper yelled at him. And Osamu had to hit him on the head to keep him calm.

"That hurt you jerk! But anyways senpai something bad happened to Kita-senpai h-" Atsumu didn't get a chance to finish as you were already bolting out the door.

You couldn't stay still when Atsumu said that, you were worried that something terrible happened to Kita, but you were not expecting that. You opened the door to see the rest of the members in a circle.

"Hey stop slapping us!" Hitoshi yelled. You made your way to the boys and tried to make your way through the circle.

"Hey guys what is going... on?" Your eyes widened when you saw basically a 1 year old Kita, aggressively slapping Hitoshi's and Suna's hands. However, when he saw you, he stood up using his hands and wobbly walked to you.

You were at first to confused to process everything until baby Kita hugged your leg. Your eyes softened at him hugging your leg snuggly, and proceeded to pick him up in your arms. He snuggled to your chest which made you and everyone on the team melt at his cuteness. Even Hitoshi who was just getting slapped by baby Kita.

However, the peacefulness was once again ruined by the one and only Atsumu. "Senpai!! You didn't let me finish!" Which proceeded to make Kita cry from the sudden noise. You could only glare at Atsumu whole trying to calm him down.

Gently bouncing him up and down, while saying things such as "it's okay baby," or "whose a good boy?". Which thankfully stopped him from crying and started giggling while grabbing on to your hair and playing with the strands.

You smiled at how cutely he acted. Which is something you definitely would NEVER ever see from current him. It only made you adore him even more. You were currently sitting with Kita alone in the gym since the whole team had to take the coach to the nurse's office.

Because he fainted. It was honestly quite a big shock. However, you were starting to get worried on whether Kita would turn back soon or not. Kita was drinking a small carton of chocolate milk, trying to keep it steady in his small hands.

"Why don't we take you home?" Kita who honestly couldn't even understand just nodded and smiled. And with the you grabbed all his gear, which was hard with balancing your stuff that Osamu bought from the library, and Kita.

It was a peaceful walk to Kita's home with him staring at everything with excitement and pointed many things out to you. He even was speaking gibberish to you, which made you laugh every single time. When you got there and explained the situation to his grandma, she actually seemed somewhat happy.

As she would be able to relive memories with Kita from when he was an actual baby. However, when you tried to leave, Kita started to crying his eyes out and grabbed on to your shirt. Refusing to let you go home.

Eventually, you just decided to stay the night at Kita's place, which you've done multiple times already, so it wasn't anything new. But you didn't mind as Kita seemed to be having the time of his life with you and his grandma.

"Y/N-chan, when will you and Shin-chan get married?" You automatically blushed at his Grandma's words. You were helping her with cooking dinner, when she all of a sudden brought up that question.

"Ah- well, um." You were too embarrassed to give a proper answer, but luckily Kita interrupted you two by pulling on your apron. You lift him up, as he proceeded to play with your fingers.

"Honestly, I don't know if we will ever be able to get to that stage. But I do want to cherish every single moment I get with Kita, and be able to love him with my all." His grandma just smiles at your answer and continues to cut the vegetables.

Whilst, Kita looked at you with a questioned look. "Y-y-y/n." He said which caused you and his grandma to drop everything in an instance.

"Shin-chan sweetie, what did you just say?" His Grandma says to him.

"Y-Y/N!" Your mouth basically dropped.

"Oh my! His second first word is your name sweetie." You couldn't but smile and blush at the same time. You hugged him tightly, somewhat proud of him for saying your name.

You three had fun all night, mainly you and Kita's grandmother, as you both got to look after baby Kita. You didn't realise how much you actually enjoy little children. It was finally time to put Kita to sleep as he started to yawn and rub his eyes.

You excused yourself and went to go get ready to sleep, but Kita refuses to let you go. So you had to settle with doing everything one handed, while holding him to your chest.

It was a struggle, but you found it adorable how much he was attached to you. "C'mon let's go to sleep you big baby." You say as he clings to your finger as he falls asleep.

Both people feeling as peace as they walk down to dream land.

Bonus extra:

You woke up to feel arms wrapped around you, which made you panic immediately. But when you saw that it was only Kita, you let go of the breath you were holding. You were relived to see him back normally, but also sad since he won't be as clingy anymore.

"Hey, wake up." You say as you bring your hand up to move the strands on his fore head. But he only groaned and hugged you even tighter. You smile as you let yourself hold him back.

Maybe he hasn't turned back 100%.
