Onigiri-Miya Osamu

2nd person pov

You knew Osamu was acting weird, but you couldn't get anything out of him. It worried you, knowing Osamu would normally tell you everything. It made all kind of possibilities run through your brain. 'Is he breaking up with me?' 'Is he mad at me?' And so on.

But knowing that Osamu would be the type to confront you about those kind of things, made you even more confused. You didn't want to press on it or give him any pressure on telling you, so you just let yourself keep yourself busy with tasks. Which wasn't very hard with all the stuff being a manager required you to do.

However, you didn't expect to find yourself or the volleyball team in this situation. "I'm quitting volleyball after high school." Everyone was shocked, but Atsumu took it the hardest out of everyone.

It was natural of course. He expected them to be the "Amazing Miya twins" for the rest of their lives. Which leads you to where everything is currently. The twins were sitting together without facing each other. Both pouting and refusing to look at each other.

You knew where Osamu was coming from. He knew that Atsumu was better, and had a bigger passion for volleyball then him. He told you it made him wonder about if volleyball was really something he could pursue, if he had people more passionate about it then him. Of course you tried to reassure him and it seemed like it worked, but you guessed wrong huh.

You tried to approach them, but knew you should stay out of it. It was their business as siblings and as best friends. Suna just arrived at practice confused by what they were doing.

"What's up? Did something happen to the twins?" He looked towards you and you could only sigh.

"Yeah, Osamu decided to quit volleyball after high school." Suna looked a bit shocked at the statement but returned to his normal deadpan face.

"Ohhhhh." Was all he could say.

"...I will keep doing business-related with "meals". Why do I have to keep playing volleyball to be called a "successful person?" I am walking the compromised path." You were shocked with his words. You really didn't know he felt this way. It kind of made you feel a bit guilty, if you reassuring might have made him feel that way.

He grabbed on to Atsumu's collar, "When you reach 80 years old... And have that confidence to say that you are happier than me... Then that time, make fun of me." Atsumu finally looked at him for the first time today.

"That's great." He chuckles and grabs Osamu's jacket as well, "When you are dead I'll tell you 'See. I was happier than you'!!" The way that they smiled at each other, and the words they spoke really made your heart feel something you never felt before. It was weird, and the feeling made your whole body shake, but you couldn't help but smile at everything.

"You guys are really something huh?" You says as you walked towards them. You then gently punched them both on their chests.

"You guys better make everyone here proud. Don't forget your promise to Kita-senpai. Of course, I hope I get a say in who had a better life." They both grinned back at you. But then Atsumu looked at you weirdly.

"Hey, but you're 'Sumu's girlfriend. How is that any fair??" And you burst out laughing at his little whine. He was so childish at times. Then Osamu wrapped his arms around your waist. He smirks up at Atsumu as he places his chin on your head.

"Looks like I'm already beating you 'Tsumu." And Atsumu looked confused and started shouting at him.

"You jerk, how are you already winning?!" He yelled pointing towards him. And Osamu's smirk grow wider. Even you were confused on what was going on.
