Sleep-Suna Rintarou

Requested by Whats_sleep . I hope you enjoy it!! This was really fun. I wasn't really too sure about his personality so I hope this matches your standards. Sorry if it's a bit short.

2nd person pov

You were so damn tired. You haven't been able to sleep in a few days and let's just say, you feel so close to dying. It's not like you didn't want to sleep, or that you were staying up playing a game or something. No, you just physically couldn't get yourself to sleep.

And here you were in the last period of school, just waiting for your body to collapse on you.

"Okay, everyone. For this term's assignment, you will be working in pairs. Your partners will be decided by me. Once you hear your name and your partner's please sit with them to start your project. Any questions?" This was just great. Just what you needed after not being able sleep for a couple days.

It's not like you hated being in partners, it's just that you usually have to do all the work. You would rather just do one assignment that's worth one persons load of work, rather than a project that's worth two.

You silently cursed the teachers, and school for making this whole project up. But your ears perked up at the call of your name. "And lastly L/N and Suna." You didn't know much about Suna, but you knew he was pretty popular for being on the volleyball team.

You've actually watched one of their games, and they were pretty cool to say the least. You slowly got out of your chair and dragged your feet towards his desk. When Suna saw you, he instantly noticed your dark circles. "Woah, you look like a mess."

And you were not expecting the first words of your partner to be this. But you actually laughed at his words. Normally, someone would have been offended by these words but after being this sleep deprived, you couldn't care.

"Woah thanks. Normally someone would have started with, "hi how are you?" Not you look like a mess." You say as you gave him a smile. He raised his eyebrow at your response. Not expecting to have someone laugh instead of being offended.

No words were discussed between you guys afterwards. You both just sat there silently doing your work. Although the silence wasn't bad. It was actually really comfortable and somewhat nice.

And when the bell went, all you guys did was exchange your goodbyes and left. This would continue for the next couple of days. You guys would just sit and do your work till the bell went.

But you enjoyed being his partner, for some odd reasons. Barely any words were spoken yet you still enjoyed it. Maybe it was your lack of sleep causing your brain to function like this. You still haven't been able to get a good nights rest.

You did fall asleep for like an hour but woke up after that hour ended. You were currently in the library with Suna and you were trying to get through your work but it just wasn't working. Your eyes were barely able to keep open but you knew you weren't going to be able to sleep.

However, you felt something warm on your shoulder's and just heard the words "Sleep." And slowly, your eyes closed peacefully. Suna watched you as you fell asleep. He didn't want to admit it but he found you extremely beautiful while you were sleeping.

He found you interesting. He never had a partner that just sat down and did their work without bothering him with questions or talking. It also found it nice working with you.

He gently placed his hand on your head and played with the strands of your hair on your fingers. It went unnoticed by him, but there was a slight blush on his cheeks and slight race in his heart. He too also decided to take a nap.

He took your hand in his and closed his eyes. Joining you in a peaceful slumber.

A few hours later you woke up, but when you found Suna right close to your face, and your hand in his, you were blushing super hard. Your heart started to race a bit and you started to panic.

But when you felt his hand tighten around yours, you thought about how warm and comforting it felt. You were able to get a good rest because of him.

Maybe it was because of his peaceful aura, or the warmth of his hand or maybe even the sense of security of being around him. Whatever it was didn't matter now. Because you realised that he was someone more than a classmate.

You slowly held his hand back and tried to fall back to sleep. But this time, for the first time in days, you were successfully able to.

That day, not only did two people get a good rest, but they both caught feelings for each other before they knew it.

Bonus extra:

"Suna. Wake up! We have to do our work." You tried waking your lazy boyfriend up but it was no use. After you had started dating him, your sleep pattern has gotten better.

You realised that having him call you every night was enough to make you fall asleep. And after that day in the library, you guys got closer. However, you didn't realise how sleepy and lazy this boy could get.

"Suna! You need to wake up. C'mon!" You tried shaking him awake but it was no use. You sighed and shaked your head as you decided to stop trying and just start your own work.

However, before you were able to walk away, Suna grabbed your wrist and pulled you in the beds and placed the covers over you. He placed his head on your chest and snaked his arms around your body.

"Y/N, just sleep with me~" and you groaned, knowing that you wouldn't be able to get out of his grip. You wrapped your arms around his head and started playing with his hair.

"You're so annoying. But I still love you." He looked up at you and gave you a small smile back. It was minuscule but you could see it.

"I love you too~." He said in a sleepy voice before falling asleep. And it wasn't long before you too also fell asleep from the warmth of his body.
