Jamie went to work at the Westgate Hotel (as a receptionist) the next day like normal. It went on for a long while until finally, it was quitting time. Jamie clocked out and got her stuff ready to go home.

"Jamie, you have someone waiting for you outside. He is quite the looker," her friend, Brittnee, told her with a slight smirk.

"Did he say his name?" Jamie asked.

"Tom Hiddleston," Brittnee mentioned.

"Oh. Yeah," Jamie smiled with a blush as she started for the door.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Brittnee smirked.

"No. But that may change," Jamie said, then exited.

She looked around until she saw Loki in his disguise.

"Hey, Stranger," Jamie greeted with a smirk

"Hey, Stranger," Jamie greeted with a smirk.

Loki looked at her and said with a smile, "Hello, Jamie."

"What brings you here?" she asked, taking his hand.

"I wanted to surprise you and walk you home," he answered, intertwining his fingers with hers as they walked.

"Aww thanks. That's sweet of you," Jamie told him, making him blush, then she added, "So I think my best friend has a crush on you. She said you were quite the looker."

"Oh she did now?" Loki responded, making Jamie nod, then he said, "Well, it is unfortunate for her that I have my eye on someone else."

Jamie blushed, making Loki chuckle. Then it started to snow.

"Wow," she breathed.

Then she shivered a little. Loki noticed, took his coat off, put it around her shoulders, and put an arm around her. Jamie leaned into him in thanks and he laid his head on hers.

"Quick question: Did you walk to where I worked?" she wondered.

"Yes," he answered.

"You know you could've taken the subway, right?" Jamie pointed out.

"What?" Loki asked.

She giggled and said, "The subway. It's a train that runs underground."

"Do you take it?" he wondered.

"When I can. Come on," she said.

She led him down the stairs to the subway station and paid for the both of them. Then they went to wait for it and they were the only ones down there.

"How long does it normally take?" Loki asked.

"It runs every few minutes," Jamie answered.

He nodded his head at that. Then a man came in to join them and Jamie smirked. She walked behind him and made a funny face behind him.

(A/N Her face.)

Loki saw this and was so confused

Loki saw this and was so confused.

When she got back, he asked, "What was that?"

"Oh," she giggled then explained, "It's something I do whenever I'm about to take the subway. I'm usually nervous about it. So to remain calm, and just for fun, I make funny faces behind people's backs. It's hilarious and it helps me on the way home."

"Alright. But why did you suggest the subway if it makes you nervous? We could take a cab," Loki pointed out.

"I have bad luck when it comes to cars. I trust the subway more. And besides, you could've taken a cab too," Jamie answered.

Loki nodded again and they looked away from each other then he saw a woman coming down beside them. He tapped Jamie's shoulder getting her attention. He put a finger to his lips, signaling her to be quiet. He slowly approached behind the woman and made a funny face at her.

Jamie silently giggled as Loki made his way back to her with a smirk

Jamie silently giggled as Loki made his way back to her with a smirk. Then the train came and they boarded.

Once they made it to their stop, Jamie and Loki got off and walked about a block until they reached the hotel she lived in. It was still snowing.

"Thanks for waiting for me and walking me home," she said as they stopped.

"You're welcome. I just wanted to see you; it got really lonely in that apartment of yours," Loki told her.

She giggled and replied, "We can fix that when we get up there."

"I agree," he responded.

They stared into each other's eyes for a minute until Loki put a hand to her cheek. She then noticed he was starting to lean in. She did the same and she could feel his breath on her lips. Then they were startled by a police siren that sounded right where they were before taking off after a speeding car.

"Damn siren," Jamie mumbled.

"Yes," Loki agreed.

They laughed lightly at that, went inside the building, and hung out the rest of the day.
