That night while watching a movie, Jamie fell asleep. So Loki carried her to his room and tucked her in. He changed into only pajama pants and got in the bed. She cuddled into his bare chest and soon after he fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, Jamie woke up, noticing her position. She smiled and sat up a little without waking him up. She looked at his peaceful sleeping form and gently placed her hand on his cheek. He nuzzled into her touch, making her kiss his forehead.
"He's going to die," a voice said.
Jamie heard it and cautiously got up. She grabbed the bat she left in there from the first night and held it ready.
"Who's there?" she called.
"Someone who knows of your love for the God of Mischief," the voice answered from behind her.
Jamie turned around to see a woman with long black hair and a black jumpsuit-like outfit.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Jamie demanded.
"I am Hela, the Goddess of Death. Your lover, Loki, happens to be one of my brothers. Thor by blood, Loki by adoption," the woman answered.
Jamie's eyes went wide at that.
"No. There's no way that's true," she said.
"Well believe me, it is. And he will die if you don't do what I say," Hela threatened.
"What do you want then?" Jamie asked.
"You are never going to see him again. End your relationship with him and make him turn back into the same god you met a couple of months ago. Do that and he lives; if not, he dies," Hela remarked.
Jamie's eyes widened in shock.
"Jamie? Who is this?" a male voice asked.
Both women looked to see Loki awake.
"Make your choice, girl," Hela smirked, readying a dagger.
"No, please don't," Jamie begged.
"I don't see you ending the relationship. So now, I'll end his life," Hela remarked.
She then threw her dagger into Loki's chest, making him gasp.
"NO!" Jamie yelled and ran to Loki.
But Hela grabbed her by her ponytail and threw her at his closet. She groaned as she got up. Rage filled Jamie as Hela formed another dagger.
"Now it's your turn," Hela stated.
She aimed the dagger at her head and threw it. But Jamie avoided it, grabbed it and shoved it into Hela's stomach. Hela gasped in pain.
"I beg to differ, bitch," Jamie hissed.
Hela fell to her knees then disappeared. Jamie then looked at Loki, who had fallen off the bed, still gasping for air. She ran to him and went down to his level.
"Loki, please stay with me," she pleaded as she held him and started tearing up.
He put a hand to her cheek and whispered weakly, "Jamie...I love you."
"I love you too, Loki," Jamie sobbed.
Loki then took his last breath and Jamie started to panic.
"No. No no no no! Loki! Don't leave me! Please!" she shouted then sobbed harder.
"Jamie! Wake up!" Loki's voice sounded.
She woke up in a cold sweat, breathing hard. She looked to see Loki looking at her, full of concern.
"Loki, you're okay!" Jamie said, sitting up and hugging Loki as she started crying.
"Love, what's going on?" Loki asked, holding her tight.
"I saw you die. At the hands of a woman who claimed to be Thor's and your sister," Jamie answered.
Loki was taken back by this. He didn't know he had a sister.
"What was her name?" he wondered.
"Hela, the Goddess of Death," she answered.
"I don't know anyone by that name," Loki told her as he got her to face him, then asked, "What did she do in your nightmare?"
Jamie wiped her tears away as she answered, "She wanted me to break your heart to where you would go back to being a threat or she would kill you. And she did."
He was in shock as he heard this. A look of determination appeared on his face as he got out of bed.
"Loki, what are you doing?" she sniffled.
He changed to his armor and said, "We're going to Asgard. Get dressed."
She went to her bedroom and got dressed.

She got out to meet with Loki. He smiled lightly at her.
"You look beautiful, but you didn't have to get all dressed up," Loki pointed out.
"I know, but it's Asgard," Jamie said.
He chuckled and replied, "You make a good point. Now let's go to the roof."
