Jamie woke up around sunrise and saw Loki still asleep. She smiled at him then kissed his cheek.
"I promise I will protect you as long as there is breath in my lungs. Even after that," she whispered.
She got up, put on the robe that was provided with the nightgown, and went down the hall.

Jamie continued to walk until she tripped and for some reason, landed through a portal.
She coughed and shivered as she got out of the snow.
"Snow? What the hell?" she questioned.
She shivered uncontrollably as she looked around. Then she realized exactly where she was.
"Jotunheim," she breathed.
"You're smarter than I thought," a female voice smirked.
Jamie growled as she said, "Hela."
She turned to see Hela, standing behind her with her headdress.
"You're a clever girl, Jamie. Do not make this harder than it has to be," she smirked, forming a dagger.
"You can't be here. Odin said his life is the only thing keeping you from escaping," Jamie pointed out.
"Yes. It was," Hela pointed out.
"Was?" Jamie questioned.
"Odin is dead," Hela said.
Jamie was in shock and sorrow. How could Odin be dead?
"He died in his sleep. And now there is no one to protect you from me," Hela stated.
That's when Jamie started running, despite how cold she was. But it wasn't any good because Hela threw a dagger into her left thigh. Jamie cried out in pain as she fell to the ground then turned to see Hela approach her.
"You didn't do what I asked. So I'm going to make Loki suffer before he dies," Hela growled.
