Jamie sighed as she saw Loki's shocked face.

"I know it's a shock and everything," she said.

"That's one way to put it," he said then requested, "Can you show your Jotun form?"

Jamie looked at him and nodded. She stepped back, closed her eyes, and concentrated. When she opened them, her skin was blue and she saw her reflection through the sliding door to see her eyes were red. She looked back at Loki, who was looking at her intently and caressing her cheeks.

"Well, either way, I like it," he told her.

She smiled, remembering when she said that to him. She placed her hands under his elbows in response.

"And now that I know this, I have some things I need to tell you," Loki said.

"And what might those be?" Jamie wondered.

"Here's the first thing," he mentioned.

He took his hands away from her face and stepped back. He closed his eyes and turned into his Jotun form. He opened his eyes to see Jamie with her eyes wide and her mouth cupped shut. She walked to him and hugged him. He returned it with a smile.

"I'm not alone," she whispered.

"You were never alone," he assured.

They went back to their original forms as they parted from the hug.

"So what was the other thing you wanted to tell me?" Jamie wondered.

Loki suddenly became nervous about this next part.

"Before I tell you, can I ask what happened to your father?" Loki asked.

"He said he had to go to the Arctic to help with something important. But considering he was a Frost Giant, I'm assuming he went to Jotunheim and died," she answered.

"Well, I think I know how," he said, his voice slightly shaky.

"How?" Jamie asked.

Loki took a deep breath and explained, "Back when I was blinded by my want to rule Asgard, Odin told me I was adopted to be a relic of peace between Asgard and Jotunheim. I didn't take the news well and I thought the only way to be king was to take out the enemies I was raised to despise. So I used the BiFrost to try and destroy Jotunheim. I think that it's my fault your father is dead."

Jamie was taken back by this. Loki could've possibly killed her father? But then she thought of the possibilities: if he did, her father wasn't really there for her family anyway and she wouldn't hate Loki; if he didn't, then he wouldn't feel as guilty as he did before.

She took his hand and told him, "Loki, you aren't sure if you did it or not. Whether or not you did, it's not going to change anything. My father wasn't even really there for my family that much. I still feel what I felt before you told me."

"And what have you felt?" he asked.

Jamie smiled as she placed her other hand gently on his cheek then said, "I have felt love for only you and still do."

Loki started to smile and placed his hands on her waist.

"I have felt love for you as well and it has grown," he told her.

She smiled as they started to lean in. Then thunder sounded, making both of them look up. It then started to pour down rain, making Jamie squeal a little. And because they are on the top floor, there wasn't a roof.

"Jamie, we need to get inside," Loki urged.

But Jamie stopped him and said with a smirk, "I'm not going to let a little weather stop me. Are you?"

Loki smirked back, went to her, caressed her cheeks, and responded, "No, I'm not."

He leaned down and kissed her right on the lips. She kissed back and felt everything melt away. All that mattered was that they fell in love, accepted it, and are now showing it through a sweet kiss in the rain. How much more romantic could it have been?

They parted, looked up at the sky, and laughed a little.

"You do realize you could get sick," Loki pointed out.

"I know. But it's totally worth it," Jamie stated then told him, "I love you, Loki."

"I love you too, Jamie," he said.

They kissed again then went back inside.
