The next day, Jamie did get a slight cold from the rain, despite her being a Frost Giant and all. Loki helped take care of her in any way she needed. She was lying on the couch as Loki gave her some chicken noodle soup.

(A/N Same outfit as Chapter 3. Here's a reminder.)

"I told you you were going to get sick," Loki said

"I told you you were going to get sick," Loki said.

"I know. But like I said, it was worth it," Jamie smiled with a sniffle.

He smiled back at her then fed her a spoonful of soup. She swallowed it and he put the back of his hand on her forehead.

"Your fever's gone down a little," he informed.

"When did you learn how to cook and be a nurse?" she wondered with a smirk.

Loki chuckled and answered, "Growing up on Asgard, I learned a few recipes from Mother. Then while you were gone, I looked up some recipes on your laptop. I would like to cook for you one day. Plus I've learned about different illnesses from the healers on Asgard. I didn't know it would come in handy...until now."

He placed his hand on her cheek as she smiled.

"You really know how to make a girl feel better, even when she's feeling like crap," Jamie said.

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"You're the only girl for me," he told her then asked, "How do you get a cold when you're a Frost Giant?"

"That's a good question. Maybe it's because I'm just used to being human that my Frost Giant self hasn't fully taken effect. But now that I know, why hasn't it?" she mentioned.

"I don't know, but we will figure it out," Loki assured then said, "I'm going to go grocery shopping for you. Do you need anything?"

"More Advil and Sprite would be nice," Jamie answered then told him, "But I don't want you to go."

He took her hand, kissed it, and replied, "You won't get any better if I don't go."

"I'll feel better knowing you're with me," she said.

"Stubborn girl. I love you," Loki remarked.

"I love you too," Jamie told him.

He then turned into his disguise for the day.

"I'll be back in a little while

"I'll be back in a little while. Keep a wet cloth on your forehead and eat your soup," Loki instructed.

"Yes, Mother," Jamie teased.

He chuckled as he rolled his eyes, kissed her cheek, then said, "I won't be long."

He then left and Jamie waited.

And waited.

And waited.

"Okay. I got to do something or I'll lose my mind," she told herself.

She then looked at her phone then smirked to herself.

"Maybe a little dancing will do me some good," she said.

She got off the couch, stretched her back out, moved the furniture back, then played "Circus" from Britney Spears on her phone.

She breathed in then out with a smile.

"And the sinuses are clearing," she said.

A/N Good to know that she's keeping her hopes up through dancing.

P.S. I know this dance didn't happen until the video game came out, but it's for the fan fiction and Jamie was dancing this way because the song came out before Avengers.
