Chapter II - Training

You love your girlfriend Rey more than words can describe and you'd do anything for her and you know she'd do anything for you. You have been dating for several years now but the time has flown by. Training is part of your daily routine and you've always trained with Rey as both girlfriends and warriors. Training is one of your favourite things do to together and neither of you have trouble challenging the other. You are a powerful Jedi as is she so challenging each other is something you both enjoy doing. You push your limits and test each other. You want to see her reach her potential and you know she wants to see you reach yours as well.

However, in the midst of training things can get a little bit flirtatious since Rey is a natural-born flirt and she thinks the sun and the stars of you and vice versa. The way she looks at you when she thinks you don't know is proof enough of that. The way she sends winks your way and "accidentally" touches your backside or boobs whilst training is also tangible proof. Sometimes Rey will pin you against a wall or the floor or some other surface. It's usually meant to be an intimidation tactic but when it comes to you, you know that Rey is outright flirting with you and when she looks deep into your eyes with her lips mere inches away from yours, it's hard not to get flustered and it takes everything in you not to get overwhelmed and succumb to her charms. Sometimes Rey will even sneak a kiss when she does this, which causes major distractions. Too many times has Master Leia walked in on you two making out when you were meant to be training. She loves that you and Rey are dating but she reminds you that the Rebellion isn't founded on making out sessions.

You're in the middle of training one day and you're fighting with your lightsabers. You usually fight with things like sticks and staffs but you really concentrate when you're using your sabers. Rey is in her element and you can see it in her eyes. She is determined and passionate. Unfortunately, accidents happen and you didn't move out of the way quick enough when Rey attacked you with her saber, causing her to slice the side of your arm. You cry out in pain and Rey automatically drops from being a powerful Jedi to the soft and caring girlfriend you know her to be. She turns off her saber and drops it on the ground before rushing over to you. She immediately repeats frantic apologies to you and checks if you're okay. You tell her that you are fine and that it's just a gash but Rey treats it as if she's cut your arm off. She hurriedly escorts you to the infirmary where she mends you herself with the greatest care.

You tell her over and over again that you are fine and that it was simply an accident but in Rey's mind, it was unacceptable and she should have been more careful. Her guilt overwhelms her but you remind her that it was an accident and they are inevitable. Rey is too hard on herself, especially when it comes to you but that's just the kind of person she is and you love her for all of her faults. Rey is an extraordinary Jedi but also an extraordinary doctor. She works wonders stitching you up (apologising the entire time) and makes sure that the wound has been properly treated but you don't make a big deal out of it. Rey has had her fair share of injuries but she is tough. You've had your fair share as well but Rey treats you like the most precious and delicate creature in the universe and you know the clause is ridiculous but you're Rey's girlfriend and to her, you ARE precious and delicate. You are her everything and you know it's in her unstoppable nature for her to take care of you and protect you.

Rey gives you a few days to heal even though you want to train. Whenever you ask to train with her, she refuses and demands that you rest and you reluctantly obey. Once your arm is better, you tell Rey that you are ready to train again and she is extremely hesitant. You assure her repeatedly that you're fine and it takes a ludicrous amount of time until she is convinced. She agrees to train with you again but is super paranoid and cautious that she will hurt you again. You reassure her that you will be fine and that there is no need to fret and it takes a few kisses to help her relax. Once she is calm, you begin your training session and things are quickly back to normal. Rey may be tough but she is a complete softie when it comes to you and it's one of the many reasons you love her.
