maricela: why did you even have me? if you hate me so much?

she leaned back on the counter trying to catch her breath

vero: i told you no boyfriends!

maricela: why not! haw!? i deserve love to!

vero slapped her hard again

vero: clean up your mess and you better break up with him next time it wont go so easy

she ignored what she said and just cleaned up

adan: i have to get her pedro her mom knocked her out shes coughing up blood

pedro: you go they'll call the cops we cant have that ok .. whats she saying?

adan: she finished cleaning up her blood off the floor she made her parents a plate for dinner she .. she put pills in there drinks and pills look

maricela- can 5 pills kill them? there over weight? i should put 2 dont want them to die a painless death

pedro: tell her to come after they knockout

adan: i did but im pissed pedro

pedro: same and we havent even seen her

maricela waited it out

vero: this isnt clean enough

maricela: ill reclean dont worry

she wiped the counters and foor she sae her mom getting drowsy .. she sat down

vero: if you get pregnant i swear under gods eyes

she nodded and sat down across from her

vero took a deep breath and looked at her

vero: you ruined my life i couldve had the perfect life but that one night of fun turned into 18 years of hell .. i got pregnant and my parents forced me to marry this idiot and forced me to keep you when i wanted to give you away i even tried to abort you .. i hated you since the moment i knew you where there

she put her head down and started to snore ..

maricela sat back she wasnt surprised or hurt .. she saw a pair of scissors she took them and cut a peice of her hair .. she went to her room

maricela- im to tired and sore to move babe i took some meds im gonna try and sleep this off

adan- are you safe? did you stop bleeding? babe i have to see please!

maricela- the blood stopped they passed out too .. but give me 20 minutes ok? let me try and clean up my face

she put her phone down and locked her room door she went into her closest and locked the door also ..

she had a lil stand with a statue of the santa muerte .. she placed her mothers hair next to it and got on her knees..

she said a prayer

maricela- i ask you to please bring light upon my way and that you keep away from my way all posible aggression obstacles and limitations so that i may go on freely progressing towards happiness and prosperity .. i especially ask of you ..that you do not permit anyone or anything to hurt me .. this i ask of you my most holy saint death of my life while surrendering my full devotion to you .. so may it be with your blessing please stay with me ad keep me with you at all times ..

she lit a black candle a cigarette and put a black rose next to statue .

she sat back and relaxed a bit .. she got up and turned it all off and walked out .. her parents where snoring she grabbed her jacket and walked out the front door .. it was raining ..

she walked down the street

adan: mari?

she lookedup and saw him at the corner street .. she walked up to him crying she couldnt hold it in anymore

he hugged her

adan: babe you shouldve lied? look at you fuck

he looked at her bruises her blackeye was getting darker .. she had a busted lip

maricela: no i worked hard she wouldve found the money if she wouldve gone threw my room

adan: so who cares?

maricela: she wouldve really killed me i hid the moeny deeper in my closest and its locked with double locks now ..

she shook her head and looked down

adan: your safe with me ok i love you

maricela: i know i am .. but no matter what i cant leave i cant runaway i cant be seen with you .. but im gonna work harder to double up turn 18

adan: then run away?

maricela: no i wanna stay here i want her to see me happy if she makes it haha i put alot of pills in there food and drinks haha

he kissed her

maricela: what was that for?

adan: your smiling and laughing after all this .. im fucking proud of you

maricela: i love you all i need is you to smile and laugh babe .. but we have to be careful now more than ever she knows and i dont know if she'll try and look into you or pedro

adan: dont stress we're fine lets get you healed up and lets work make that money baby

she nodded

they kicked back for awhile they smoked and relaxed she calmed down the tears stopped flowing eventually..

she went home before the son came up

vero: i mustve been really tired huh

chuey: yea so are you going to school maricela?

maricela: no dont worry ill heal and go back .. im picking up double shifts at work ok

vero: i better not hear anything about you and that boy

maricela: yea dont worry i broke up with him i told him it was for the best .. i guess i cant be loved
