It's your fault.

It's your fault.

It's your fault.

I'm going insane.

"Elliana!" I jumped and looked at Jane. "One more time and this time, I want to hear some more Soprano in this song."

I nodded. "Yeah, I'll try."

"This is the fourteenth try. I need some progress here and progress can't be made if you don't put the effort."

"I'm sorry." I said.

It didn't matter if I said that I'm tired because no matter what I say, they won't care for my excuses.

"Lets just get on with the album."

I breathed in deeply and exhaled. After that deep breath is when I started to work my vocal cords.

"We'll continue tomorrow, okay?" Ben asked me from outside the recording box.

"Yeah, I got it." I took off the headphones and put them on top of the mic, then rubbed my eyes.

"I'm sorry for pushing you, Elliana." I heard Jane say after the opening of the recording box door.

"It's fine, Jane." I said. "I'm fine."

"I'm only trying to push you to help you." She said.

Haven't I been pushed enough?

"I understand." I said, walking out of the studio quickly and grabbing my phone and my wallet. "It's completely understandable but I'm quite tired and I just want to go home." I turned back towards her. "Please, Jane?" I pleaded.

She nodded. "But remember you have to get up around 4:30 or five tomorrow morning, alright?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I got it."

"See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow, Jane." I hurried out of the recording studio and into the limo.

"Home, Richard. Please?"

"Certainly, Ms. Rinders."

"Thank you." I sighed, leaning my head against the small headrest.

That's when my phone decided to start ringing. It played "Spaces" by One Direction.

"What?" I asked, looking down onto the screen.

Across the top of the screen, it read: Jerkface.

He changed his number. I never gave him my new number.

Slowly, I picked up the phone and answered. "Hello?"

"Hi Cupcake."

"How do you have my number?" I asked.

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve." He said.

"Did you go through my phone?"

"No."

I smiled. "You hesitated, you liar." I said. "When did you go through it?"

"Just because you leave me alone to go get water does not mean I won't do anything." He said.

"But I looked back and you were eating."

"Well, then I'm fast because I snatched it the first thing when you turned around." I could imagine his smirk gracing his lips.

His lips.
