Friends' Lives (Sam & Dean Winchester)

Chapter 8

Ray opens the door as she hears Jass and Dean knock. Sam hid Milo in his room, not wanting them to see him just yet. Ray welcomes them inside, trying to hide her smile and they both greet Sam and Ray.

"Hey guys!" Sam tells them a little too excitedly. Jass and Dean laugh at his excitement and make their way to the living room "Didn't know you missed us this much." Dean tells him and plops down on the couch, Jass sitting next to him as she cuddles into his arms.

Ray walks over to Sam, standing next to him with an excited smile on her face "We have a surprise for you guys." She tells them and the couple looks at the pair curiously.

For a second there Jass almost thought they got together before Sam opens his door and a puppy immediately jumps out, running over to Ray and she picks him up.

"Say hello to Milo" Sam says with a smile as he ruffles the puppy's fur, standing close to Ray.

Jass and Deans eyes widen, both standing up at the same time. "You guys got a puppy?" Jass says, still shocked and she walks over to them, welcoming Milo and running a hand down his back.

Dean smiles at the little guy and looks up at his little brother "When did you get him?" He asks, happiness in his voice.

"This morning, we were out on a run and found him in the park all alone so we decided to take him in" Sam replies as he admires the puppy.

Jass plays with his fur and awes at him "He's so cute" She says and after everyone gave their fair share of love and attention to the puppy Ray puts him back on the ground, letting him run around and play with his toys.

The four sit on the couch, talking about Milo for a bit before changing the subject. "So you guys wanted to watch a movie?" Ray asks them as she turns on the tv.

The couple nods and she turned on a movie suitable for all of them, cuddling close to Sam like she did yesterday.

Sam smiles at Ray, which she returns and Jass looks with a raised eyebrow at them. She nudges Dean's side and he looks where's she pointing at with her eyes.

Dean smirks at Jass, "They're so stupid." he whispers into Jass' ear making her giggle slightly. "What are you laughing at?" Sam asks as his grips on Ray tightens, making her smile.

Jass stops laughing and looks at them, "Just some joke Dean told me, that's all." she smiles and Sam narrows his eyes at her. "You two are weird." Sam says with a shrug and turns his focus back on the tv.

Ray notices Jass and Dean, even hearing her and Sam's names. She narrows her eyes at Jass and Dean, "Could you guys please stop gossiping about us?" she says and rolls her eyes playfully.

She knows they would never say anything bad about them behind their back. Jass looks a bit helpless for a second, but smiles at Ray. "We were just talking about, if you will come with us to Dean's parents next weekend." she shrugs and mentally palms herself.

Even Sam narrows his eyes at Jass, "I didn't know, Mom and Dad invited us." Sam frowns slightly. "T-They didn't, I wanted to surprise them with that thing, you know." Sam frowns until realisation hits him, the proposal. "Oh yes." Sam nods.

"What thing?" Jass asks Dean with a smile. "Like I said, surprise." Making Jass pout and Dean just chuckles at how adorable she looks. He pecks her lips and smiles, "Sooner or later, you'll know." he says and pecks her lips.

She shrugs and cuddles close to him, not thinking about that 'surprise'. Dean wraps his arm around Jass and rest his head on top off her. Ray smiles at the both of them, until she realizes it's the same how she and Sam are lying there and she enjoys it even more, smiling to herself.
