Friends' Lives (Sam & Dean Winchester)

Chapter 37

Ray is planning a baby shower for Jass, who's 6 months pregnant now. Jass and Dean never have had the luck to get to know the sex of the baby, because it was always lying in a bad position.

But Ray has talked to the doctor one day before their appointment and has told the doctor to lie to them and tell them she can't see it again. The doctor agreed only because Ray is throwing the baby shower.

Here Ray is at the little cabin in the woods, because it's the only big place Ray knows. Ray smiles slightly as she pulls up in front of the cabin and remembers how her now husband proposed there to her.

She gets out of the car and opens the trunk to get out the decorations, mostly the blue one, because Jass and Dean are going to have a boy. She carries the back into the little, but also big cabin, and starts decorating the cabin.

A fee hours later she's finished and smiles proudly to herself at how good it looks. Ray only has to get the cake from the bakery, which will be blue from the inside. Ray looks at her clock and sees just one hour left before Jass finishes work.

So Ray quickly gets back into the car and drives to the bakery, where Sam is already waiting with the cake. Ray frowns slightly with a smile, "What are you doing here?" She asks him as he gets into the car.

He pecks her lips softly and smiles at her, "I finished work earlier and I knew you were coming here, so I thought I get the cake and help you with the rest at the cabin." he smiles.

She smiles at him, "Thank you." She says and pecks his lips before starting the engine again. She drives back to the cabin and notices the same smile on Sam's lips, like she had only a few hours ago.

Soon they get to the cabin and both Ray and Sam get out of the car, Sam holding the cake for her. He notices the outside, covered in fairy lights and decorations making him smile. "Maybe you don't need my help after all." He says playfully, mainly because he's in awe of how amazingly his wife can decorate.

She lets out a small laugh and takes his hand, leading him inside. "Come on, theres much more to help with." He chuckles as she practically runs to the door, dragging him with her excitedly. As she opens the door, Sam's eyes widen as he sees the walls, ceilings and stairs decorated in blue. "They're having a boy?" He says in shock, so happy for them.

Ray nods and smiles at her husband. They both can't wait till they meet their nephew, smiles on both their faces. "A big brother to protect all his little sisters, just like Jass wanted." She says with a smile, her heart breaking a little on the inside as she remembers when Jass told her this.

Sam sets the cake down and pulls Ray into a kiss, smiling against her lips. She pulls away and pecks his lips one more time as she takes his hand in hers. "Jass gets off work soon, we should probably finish decorating." She smiles at him and leads him deeper into the house, making him chuckle and follow her.

They both have their fun as they decorate the house, Sam helping Ray when a ceiling is a little too high, having a laugh about it before of course, but assisting her as soon as she gives him one of her glares. By the time they finish fully decorating the house, it looks amazing.

It's filled with lights and blue banners, balloons and confetti. Ray had called their family earlier, Jass' side and Dean's. People begin coming in around an hour before the happy couple is supposed to come.

Dean's uncle Bobby, their work friends, Dean's cousin Charlie, and of course both of their parents. By the time that everyone was there Ray had already texted Jass and told her to come to the cabin with Dean.

Dean's waiting outside Jass' work place and smiles at his pregnant wife as she comes out of the building, "Hey." he says as he approaches her halfway. "Hey." Jass says and Dean pecks her lips as he places a hand on her stomach.
