Friends' Lives (Sam & Dean Winchester)

Chapter 35

They sit down at their table, bigger than all the rest and Jass and Dean sit down next to them. "That was beautiful." Jass tells Ray, making her smile at her.

"Thank you." Ray replies softly and squeezes Sam's hand, which is intertwined with her own under the table. He grins at her, so happy to call her his wife now and she leans into him, resting her head on his shoulder and looking up at him with a smile.

He leans down and kisses her lips, making her lips tug into an even bigger smile. "I love you." He says, unable to say those three words enough today. "I love you too." She replies, making him smile. Dean pats his little brothers back. "I'm happy for you Sammy." He tells him with a soft smile, making Sam return it.

"Thank you." He says and they sit down for a few minutes, talking as all the guests have their fun. Soon enough Dean stands up and clanks his glass with a fork, gathering everyone's attention. "Hey, thank you for your attention, I'd just like to say a few words about my brother and my now, sister in law." He says and gives the newlyweds a smile.

Dean looks around the room and gives the guests a smile, "So my little brother Sammy is finally married to the woman, he loves for so many years already." He smiles at them.

"My brother and Ray always thought, they're good at hiding their feeling, but they weren't." Jass lets out a small laugh and Dean joins his wife for a second before he continues.

"They acted like a couple, but never were one until my own wedding." Sam and Ray let out a small laugh and Sam cuddles his now wife closer to him. "The way they looked at each other, is the way I look at my wife." Jass blushes slightly and smiles at him.

"They're so madly in love since years like I already said and I'm so happy to call Ray my sister-in-law. I'm happy my brother is happy and he has the perfect wife on his side. I love you guys." Dean says and sits down again.

Sam's heart feels so much warmer after his brother's speech. He lets go of his wife and hugs Dean just for a moment. "Thank you." Sam mumbles next to his ear.

Sam pulls away a moment later and Dean pats his head slightly, smiling at him. Ray stands up too and envelopes Dean into a warm hug. He smiles and rubs his hand up and down her back, "Thank you, Dean." Ray almost sobs out.

Dean pulls away and smiles at her before he presses a soft kiss to her forehead, "You're officially family now, although you always were family." Dean says and Ray feels her heart flutter at his words.

They pull away and then it's Jass turn to say something as the maid of honour. "Can I have your attention now?" Jass says as she clinks her glass and everyone turn their attention to Jass.

"Ray is my best friend, my little sister, my family. I know her since high school, but I can call her my best friend since college. Ray is special in every kind of way and that's what I like the most about her. I think it's what Sam loves about her too." Ray smiles at her best friend and feels like she's gonna cry every moment.

"I'm so so happy, that she has Sam as her husband now. A man who treats her like a goddess, because it's the way she deserves. Sam lets her forget the bad things and makes her happy in every possible moment." Jass says and feels her own self tear up at how happy her friend is now.

"I'm happy she's married to Sam now, my brother-in-law. Sam is the most kindest man and best man for Ray and I'm glad they found each other." Jass ends her speech and smiles at Ray and Sam with tears in her eyes.

Ray stands up first, wrapping her arms around her best friend as tears fall from her eyes. "Thank you, I'm so lucky to have you guys." She whispers to Jass, who rubs her hand up and down Rays back comfortingly. "So are we, hun." She says softly as her tears drop on Rays shoulder.
