Ch.11- Longest trip ever

This car trip has been so annoying. I can't believe my Tia invited him along. Wasn't this supposed to be a girls trip. I just roll my eyes looking out the window. Trying my best to fall asleep so I can disappear from this place. It's still isn't easy...I start dozing off into sleep thinking what it's like if you guys were still here....

      *Flash back*
A week before the accident.
   Honey don't worry your going to be okay. Don't cry anymore. I open my eyes. "Mommy where is daddy; why did he leave so soon. Did you guys have another fight?" I ask her half asleep with tears falling down. I don't why I was crying. Did I have a nightmare. My mom just hugs me. "Your father is just out for a business trip. He's going to come back". She smiles. 

I just roll over in bed. "I know your lying. I know I might seem like I don't understand what grown ups do but I know when your lying to me" I turn my head to face her. Maybe that's why I was crying. He left and I thought it was all a dream. "Can you please leave" I tell her before she can reply to my response I said earlier. She just nods her head with such sympathy then leaves closing the door on way out.
*Flash back ends*

Alexandria wake up!!. Wake up!! I hear a loud voice ringing in my ear. I slowly open my eyes. We are parked in a middle of a fast food restaurant and Kurtis and my Tia are looking at me. "Are you okay?" Said Kurtis with a concern look. I looked confused tho because why would he as that.

"Yeah why" I say as I yawn. Sitting up straight this time in my seat. "I'm just wondering because you were crying and kept saying why over and over" he says while sitting close to me. My Tia looked down to the floor. "It was probably another nightmare. We should go inside and have something to eat maybe you'll feel better" she says with a slight grin.

Once we got inside my Tia was talking to the worker to set up a table for all three of us. The place looked kinda country a bit old and had a warm camp fire smell. It was like how the movie decorated there restaurants. It was nice. My Tia kept talking to the waiter so me and Kurtis were sitting down patiently waiting. It was kinda awkward having him around. I mean I still barely know him. I think my Tia only tagged him along so I can make friends because she knows I've been behaving weird lately.

Once the waiter got everything settled we headed to the table by the kitchen. Near a fireplace as well. Maybe that's were the campfire smell comes from. We gathered around the table as the waiter takes our orders.
Ofc they brought out are drinks and lend us menus to decide what we want. My Tia already order what she wanted but me and Kurtis asked for a few minutes at the same time. I felt nervous for some reason on what to eat. Like I was embarrassed to eat in front of a boy. What's happening to me.

"Are you ready to order miss?" Said the waiter who got me out of my doziness mind. I didn't realize five minutes have passed. "Huh.. Oh yes I will have...." I was just staring at it. It was like all eyes were on me. "The lobster with mash potatoes" I say smiling back at the waiter.
I look over across the table and I see that Kurtis finished ordering. He looks at me laughing a little. I just scoff. "What's so funny" I explain. "You are" he laughs a little again.

I felt bad for my Tia as she can see the tension that's building up here. She just goes on her phone. "Why am I so funny" I give him a glare look. " well it's so funny how you act. I mean the waiter was standing there for about five minutes and you haven't even realized her" he laughs a bit louder this time. "Whatever" i just look away ignoring him the rest of the day.

After the meal at the restaurant and the long trip in the car. We've finally arrived at a fancy resort. It was called the four seasons. It was really big to and lots of chandeliers. It was well organized as decorated. It felt like I was a princess arriving at my palace. This place made me feel welcomed. "Ohhh I know we're going to like it here" my Tia said smiling walking to the office to check in. I guess she called last night for reservations but has to get another room for Kurtis since we've brought him along.
