“Yung totoo, Sir?” Karylle asked nervously.
“About you and Vice?”
“What do you mean, Sir?” she faked a smile bago lumabas ng kwarto nya to stand in the hallway with Lyle.
Lyle noticed her outfit kaya naman he gave her a look na parang kinu-question yung suot nya. Karylle looked down sa winterwear outfit pa rin nya. It must have looked so suspicious dahil dapat nasa kama na sya at natutulog. Alam nyang she had to come up with a quick excuse.
“I couldn’t sleep kaya naman I’m trying out clothes for my date with Vice tomorrow.”
Lyle seemed to have bought her excuse kaya naman he dismissed the topic, “You and Vice then, anong nangyari sainyong dalawa ngayong gabi? Don’t you lie to me, Karylle.”
“Hindi ko kaya maintindihan, sir.”
“I said don’t lie to me.” Lyle said putting on his authorative voice.
Napalunok si Karylle dahil sa kaba, she crossed her arms before nodding dahil alam nyang buking na sila.
“Kailangan ko pang marinig mula kay Anne…”
Karylle felt a pang of pain in her heart all of a sudden dahil sa nagulat syang sa inakala nya pang kaibigan mag mumula yung balita.
“From Anne?”
“Yeah, kung hindi dahil sa kanya magpapatuloy pa siguro itong-“
“I’m sorry, Sir, I know na hindi dapat pero—“
“Hindi talaga dapat!” sabi ni Lyle at hinawakan sa magkabilang balikat si Karylle before smiling.
Nagtaka naman si Karylle sa pag ngiti ni Lyle sa kanya so she shut her mouth.
“Hindi talaga dapat kayo nag a-away ni Vice.”
“Nag a-away ni Vice?”
“Yes, Anne said hindi daw kayo nag pansinan at all ni Vice sa banquet, may problema na naman ba kayo?”
“Oh. My. God.” Sabi ni Karylle in a sigh of relief.
“I mean it’s nice to see a bit of drama between the two of you, pero you’ve formed quite a fanbase with the viewers kaya try to keep the tampuhan away okay?”
Karylle faked a smile dahil medyo na-awkwardan sya sa sinabi ni Lyle, “Sure thing, Sir.”
“Alright,” sabi ni Lyle at chineck phone nya for the time, “It’s getting late, matulog ka na, maaga pa ang alis nyo ni Vice bukas.”
“Good night, Sir Lyle.” Sabi ni Karylle na pumasok sa kwarto nya as quickly as she can.

Kasi nga like I said to her countless of times now, she’s special.” Vice finished habang inaayos nya yun collar ng navy shirt nya underneath his black coat.
“Ngayon lang ata ako kinabahan for a one on one.” He laughed while looking at the crew who were filming him.

At around 10 AM ay lumabas na rin si Karylle out of her room, nakaabang naman ang ilang kaibigan nya sa hallway dahil iba ay nag-alala at yung iba naman ay curious sa suot nya.
