“May nangyari—sa—sa atin?” tanong ni Karylle na namumutla na rin ang mukha.
“I’m sorry Karylle… Kasalanan kong dumating tayo sa ganun.” Sabi ni Vice at kinuha ang magkabilang kamay ni Karylle, “Pero Karylle—“
“Oh God.” She closed her eyes in shock and shame.
“Karylle, hindi naman tayo umabot sa ano…” sabi ni Vice at binigyan ng apologetic smile si Karylle.
“What?”
“Clothes were shred, parts were shown, pero hindi tayo nag ano…” Vice cleared his throat as he awkwardly explained what happened.
“Vice, I don’t understand?”
“Shit Vice, ang tanda mo na para nerbyusin parin pagdating sa ganitong usapan”, he whispered to himself before holding tightly onto Karylle’s hands.
“We didn’t have sex… We almost did, but I stopped it before it even went further… I’m still sorry for initiating it though.”
“You know I had bruises and marks everywhere for a week?” Karylle told him.
“Sorry for that too.” Vice licked his lips seductively which Karylle found such a turn on kaya naman umiwas na naman sya ng tingin.
“After that night, hinatid mo ako sa mansion?”
“You passed out Karylle, so dinala muna kita sa hospital, they said pagod lang so after that inuwi na kita sa mansion… You woke up and then went back to sleep on the way back, so binuhat na lang kita papasok sa room mo.”
“H-hindi ka nakita ni Anne?”
“Luckily, Anne is a heavy sleeper.”
“Okay…” Karylle did a big sigh at sinandal ang likod nya sa likod ng sofa.
“Are we good?”
“No… Ako naman, it’s my turn to explain, hear me out fully okay?”
Vice nodded at sumandal din sa may sofa, waiting intently for her explanation to start. He could tell na she looked nervous kaya naman he placed his hand on her knees at binigyan ito ng gentle squeeze.
“I’m really sorry for not telling you the whole truth, Vice.”
“Wala ka namang kasalanan talaga Karylle. I just overreacted because of things that happened in the past, lahat ng kumpetensya between me and Dong, so ayun naman talaga dahilan kung bakit ako nagalit ng konti.”
“I’m not going to lie, the thought crossed my mind… Yung thought na paraan ko tong show mo para ma-meet si Dingdong, I’m sorry but that’s the truth…”
Vice nodded with a sad smile, so Karylle continued kahit na nasaktan sya sa nakitang reaksyon from Vice, “But honestly, I joined the show para makilala ka.” She touched his face at binigyan si Vice ng sincere na tingin at maliit na ngiti, “And I’m so glad na nakilala at patuloy kitang kinikilala. You’re probably the highlight of my year so far.”
Napakagat labi si Vice sabay yumuko to hide his kinikilig face.
“So again, I’m sorry.” Karylle said again.
He looked up at ngumiti, “Karylle, it’s okay… Napatawad na kita, hindi ko naman kayang magalit sa’yo ng matagal ‘no.”
“Promise?”
Nilapit ni Vice mukha nya kay Karylle at tinitigan ito ng mabuti sa mga mata, “You’re really special to me, Karylle.”
Karylle nodded slowly dahil medyo dazed parin sya sa mga mata ni Vice na nakatitig sa kanya, “I’m about to kiss you right now.” bulong ni Vice.
