Special Chapter: Forever With You

Vice stood at the altar of the church, his back to the doors. He was anxiously shifting his weight from foot to foot. He tugged on his suit jacket, adjusting it probably for the hundredth time that day. He fiddled with the cuffs at his wrists, pulling the sleeves down.

"Brad, last chance mo na 'to. Kung gusto mong tumakbo, handa na kotse ko sa likod."

Vice looked to his right, kung saan nakatayo si Dingdong, his best man by his side. He was watching him with an amused expression on his face.

"Sabihin mo lang if you want to run; I'll drive," he repeated.

"Not a chance," Vice swore, a small smile on his lips.

"Good," Dingdong nodded. "Kasi brad, ako ang sasalo dyan pag pinakawalan mo pa yan."

"Subukan mo lang gago." pag w-warn ni Vice.

"Ha," Dingdong scoffed. "Aba brad, wag mo kong hinahamon sinasabi ko sa'yo. Matindi sa chix to."

"You'll find your own, brad." Vice gave his friend an assuring smile.

"I was going easy on you, you know..." Dingdong argued, "I could have gotten Karylle any day I wanted."

Vice threw his head back and laughed. "You keep telling yourself that. Whatever helps you sleep at night, brad."

"Whatever."

Vice laughed lightly, he looked down at his feet, shifting his weight again. He sighed heavily.

"You ready to do this, buddy?" Dingdong asked, he bumped him lightly with his elbow.

"I've never been more ready for anything in my life," he answered soundly.

Tumahimik naman silang dalawa ng mag simula ng mag play ang music, which means na any second now ay makikita na nila ang bride.

One look at you,

My whole life falls in line.

"It might have taken a while for us to get to this point, but what's important right now is that we're finally here. This is the finish line, but also the starting line for the many dreams, adventures and the life I want to live with this incredible woman that I will be soon calling my wife."

A feeling of excitement ran through Vice's body as he heard the sound of the people behind him shifting as they stood from their seats to turn their heads to the church doors.

"Nagkasakitan man kami ng matagal, pero ang importante naman sa'kin ay yung ngayon. Now is all that matters. He is all that matters. Now is the start of our forever. I've grown to realize na life is not perfect. Nothing will ever be perfect with our relationship, and I believe that little bit of imperfection will keep our love alive and exciting for a long, long time. Nobody wants a perfect relationship, kasi hindi naman totoo yun."

"Here we go, are you ready?" Dingdong muttered.

I get to love you

It's a promise I'm making to you.

Vice looked up at nag sign of the cross, "Thank you."

"Here she comes, brad." bulong ni Dingdong at tinapik sa likod si Vice.

At last, Vice turned around.

"Remember that I will always love you, walang makapapantay pa sa pagmamahal na meron itong puso ko para sa'yo. Ikaw at ikaw lang ang tanging ititibok nito habang buhay. Thank you, maraming maraming salamat sa pangalawang pagkakataon na ito. I love you my future wife, I love you my Ana Karylle."
