"You got any of that E?" Ella said sheepishly.
"Girl I think you pretty fucked up already"
"Don't give her anything else" Sara said walking back into the room looking at Ella with sympathy.
They were in the lounge room, surrounded by D12, a kinda impromptu party.
Marshall hadn't seen her like this before, he'd been with her for two days so far and he doesn't think she'd been sober the whole time.
He'd even had to give her other pills so she'd sleep.
He hasn't even been drinking as much, and everyone knew how much Marshall loved his drink and drugs, because he was actually concerned about her strange behaviour.
He leaned into her ear "Yo how about we go somewhere quiet?"
Ella nodded slowly and Marshall picked her up and helped her into the bedroom and closed the door.
She pushed him on the bed and straddled him.
"Nah Girl back up for a second" Marshall said quietly pushing her back gently "What's up with you? I ain't seen you like this before"
Ella sat up quietly and moved next to Marshall.
"It's not your problem, I'm dealing with it"
"Girl, I'm fucking making it my problem, what's got you so fucked up that you need to forget?"
Ella threw herself on her back and sighed.
"Remember how I told you that story when you got really fucked up that night and I looked after you?"
Marshall searched his memories and nodded slowly "About your abusive ex?"
He grit his teeth, there was only one way this was going."He came and found me at work the other day" Ella said, small droplets of tears ran from her eyes "Everything came rushing back hitting me like a semi"
Marshall clenched his jaw.
There was one thing he hated and that was seeing the woman in his life he cared about in pain.
Who the fuck was this clown.
"You want me to fuck him up? Because I can and will"
"No just leave it, just help me forget"
"You need to tell me who he is" Marshall said angrily.
"I don't want trouble, please" Ella cried "I just want you to help me forget"
Marshall looked at Ella who was the most vulnerable he's ever seen her.
He pulled out a baggie full of pills, he didn't want to do it but him of all people know the best was to mask pain was drugs.
And if she wanted to forget, he was gonna help her.
As long as he was there to supervise.
He would find out who this punk was from Sara and stomp him out later.
He pulled Ella up into sitting position and gestures for her to stick her tongue out, he the placed it on it and passed her his Bacardi.
When she'd swallowed it he leaned over her, kissing her hard on the lips, pushing her back on the bed.
He was gonna explain the Kim situation tonight but now seems like the worst timing.
He had to focus on Ella and her happiness right now.

Marshall watched spread legged on the couch as Ella danced with some of the other guys girls around the living room.
She was carefree and happy, well thanks to the ecstasy.
And the weed.
And the alcohol.
And some purple pills from Bizarre.
He felt slightly guilty for feeding her drugs and alcohol but it was the only way he knew how to forget things, it's wasn't like he forced it, she asked when he tried to talk to her.
As long as he watched her closely.
It also wasn't lack of trying something else, some people weren't talkers.
He also knew that this was a toxic way of coping.
———
The next morning Ella woke with Marshall's heavy naked body over her.
She lifted her head only to be met with a sharp headache.
Surely there was another way.
She laid back on the pillow begging that she wasn't dying because she felt like she was.
Hell she couldn't even remember most of the night.
Her body hurt all over, at this point she could swear she even felt her hair follicles aching.
She gently pushed Marshall off her who was out cold.
Absolutely dead to the world .
She slid off the bed and pulled on a pair of shorts and a singlet and headed to the bathroom to assess the damage.
She glared in the mirror at the rather large hickey on her neck, she couldn't be bothered covering right now.
Among other places.
She snuck out her bedroom and headed into the kitchen for some much needed Tylenol, stepping over bodies of scattered members of D12, groupies and girlfriends.
What the fuck happened last night.
She reached for a glass of juice and two pain killers and swallowed them.
She turned around and looked around her house and chuckled to her self followed by a groan, she raised her hand up and held her temple.
She had to admit, since meeting Marshall and his friends she felt like she was part of a family.
Never in her life had she been treated with so much respect from the opposite sex then how she was with the D12 boys and Marshall, even though technically they weren't dating.
She didn't even know what they were, the closes thing she would call it is good friends with benefits?
She shrugged off the pang in her heart at the title, sure she'd love the girlfriend title but it's not the time, especially for Marshall, plus everyone knew he was on and off with Kim, even Ella knew that, she wasn't stupid.
She also knew he did his best to not bring it up, but she was also certain he didn't think she was aware.
She stepped back over everyone, heading back into the bedroom and sliding back into Marshall's arms.
She would rather have to share him with someone then be without him now.
She was in too deep now, hell it has been five blissful months that they were "seeing" each other since the day she met him on tour, she was in love with him now.
She sighed to herself thinking about how pathetic that actually just sounded.
