The skies were so clear and the air so cool. I felt so free as I ran through the green forest. Everything seemed clearer as the breeze hit me and ran through my hair. The smell of the air after a heavy downpour eased my weary soul. It was serene in this forest and if I could stay here forever, then I would.

Suddenly the leaves began to fall off the trees and instead of rain dripping down off the leaves, blood started falling onto the ground.

The once beautiful and peaceful forest disappeared and now before me was the aftermath of a battle, bloodshed.

"Save him" a young voice screamed out through the forest making shivers tear through my body.

Running through the woods desperately trying not to get any blood on me I searched for the young girl who called out in the lonely forest.

"PLEASE SAVE HIM" a man suddenly cried out from the opposite direction.

"HELLO? Who needs to be saved?". The voices suddenly stopped and I was left alone.

I held my hand out to the sky to check if I was imagining the blood, but to my horror the red blotches landed on my palm.

A roar of thunder shook the peacefulness of the forest and the blood began to pour down faster.

Hitching up my white dress, I ran through the forest, tears falling down my face as blood began to change the colour of my dress.

"LUNA, HELP".

"HE'S KILLED MY BABY. HELP US".

"RESCUE HIM. WE NEED HIM".

"DON'T TRUST THEM".

"THEY'RE COMING LUNA. YOU HAVE TO SAVE HIM NOW".

"BABE! BABE WAKE UP".

A familiar voice yelled out in the forest and a blinding light began to come towards me.

"Kyle? Where are you?" .

"Babe! Babe wake up".

I jolted up in the bed with sweat dripping down my body. Looking around at the new setting I sighed in relief seeing Kyle in the bed beside me.

"Babe, what an earth were you dreaming about. I was trying to wake you up, but you wouldn't".

Before I had a second to breathe or respond, Kyle wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into him and began to caress the back of my head.

"It's fine, it was just a nightmare".

But the truth was, it wasn't fine. Nothing seemed to be fine. An overwhelming feeling of dread spread around in my stomach almost giving me a horrible nauseous feeling. Everything seemed wrong.

"You'd never lie to me would you?" I blurted out without even thinking over what I was saying.

Kyle pulled away slightly and stared down at me with a frown marring his handsome face.

"Of course I wouldn't babe" he replied back instantly in hopes of reassuring my doubts. But it didn't.

"So you can promise me that Poppy is alright? She's doing ok?".

Kyle took a deep breath and held onto me tighter.

"Yes babe. I checked on her a few hours back. Your dad is taking good care of her" he muttered as his fingers stroked my cheek softly.
