I couldn't believe the day had finally come around.
Today was the day I was marrying Warrick. Today I was marrying my soulmate.
I thought wedding planning would take a long time, but Warrick wasn't having any of it. He wanted to get married quickly and that was fine by me.
We had spent hours, days talking over themes and I liked the fact that Warrick was a man of detail yet we both had such simple and similar tastes.
Warrick took the lead on the wedding planning. He told me that he dreamed of his wedding day when he was younger and wanted everything to be perfect. He had spent a fortune on everything to my horror, but he shushed me with a kiss reassuring me that he had plenty of money to take care of the pack and more than enough to spoil me and our future family with.
It was adorable watching him fuss around over table set ups and music choice. I couldn't help but admire the way he'd examine every detail and then praise the people who worked tirelessly to make this day special for both of us.
Of course it was customary for Warrick and I to have our own parties.
But deep down, I wasn't fussed on a bachelorette party. Alcohol and strong willed women did not mix well.
Brooke had tried to persuade me, grovelling and begging to an embarrassing point. But she couldn't sway me from my decision. So instead I spent a day getting pampered at a nearby salon with my mum, Brooke and some of the girls in the pack that I had gotten close to.
We had afternoon tea with cakes, fruit, chocolates and listened to our favourite songs. My nails were ready, my face had been covered in expensive face masks and I was all prepped for the wedding.
"I can't believe you're actually getting married. I'm so happy for you, ah shit, my makeup".
Brooke grabbed a tissue and gently dabbed underneath her eyes.
"Aw Brooke. It's okay, don't cry".
Brooke chuckled and shook her head.
"I'm not, I suffer from hay-fever" she lied as she threw the tissue into the bin.
There was only 1 hour until the wedding was due to start and we were running behind schedule. There was only 1 bridesmaid, but I also wanted a few of the children to be little flower girls and page boys.
The boys were at another house with Warrick and his groomsmen getting ready for the big day.
I missed Warrick terribly. I had only been without him for 1 day, but even that was killing me. I craved his touch and I missed his voice.
Brooke had even forbidden us from communicating through mind link. So I had zero communication with him.
Since marking Warrick, he had been much more possessive over me. It was quite cute watching him try and be weary of other girls getting too close.
He was a little puppy, my little kitten with the way he sulked, especially at the restaurant he took me to the day before we became separated.
Apparently according to Warrick, the waiter looked at me for too long and my oversized kitten didn't like that. Warrick made it very clear that I was a taken woman and pretty much exclaimed it to the whole restaurant before glaring at the waiter as he carried me out bridal style.
Warrick was a big softy, but I couldn't help but love it when he got possessive. It was never in a suffocating way, but it turned me on when he held me possessively when a man smiled at me. I loved his alpha male dominating side. I was lucky to have a man that would happily bake you little chocolate brownies but also a man who would tie you up to a bed post and make you beg for him.
