Chapter Eight: The sly fox is back

A/n what do you guys think of the last chapter, I thought it was pretty well considering I've never done that with Miraculous Ladybug before

The events of last night had left a hickery on her neck and even though she didn't mind, Alya would no doubt notice and question her like no tomorrow. Thinking fast she quickly changed into a new set of clothes and covered her love bite with makeup, and instead of her usual pigtails she left hair down and curled it. Her partner, however, was still sound asleep in her bed, she giggled he looked so cute like that but he needed to wake up or they were both going to be late for school. "Adrien, you need to get up," she said poking him "no princess five more minutes," he answered sleepily "wow you're worse than me in the morning," she commented and then continued to poke him "okay okay I'm up just please no more pokeing, " Adrien said as he got up, and changed into his outfit from the previous day. "Oh wait what about all your stuff for school? "Marinette asked noticing he didn't have his bag with him, "no worries I'll just grab it on the way, " Adrien said

Bell rings
"Girl what gives you we're almost late again? " Alya asked as Marinette took a seat next to her "long story, I'll tell you later. " Marinette said taking out her stuff for class, "hey everybody look Lila is finally back, " Max commented as a familiar looking girl walked in, 'oh great the bitch is back, ' Adrien thought as he watched her take a seat infront of him, almost everyone went up asking her dozens of questions "it was horrible that heartless monster attacked me when I was trying to go home, " Lila said crying fake tears and Marinette growled under her breath, Adrien wasn't a monster if anything Lila was. "You all don't need to worry though I heard from my parents that the police is going to give Cat Blanc the death penalty if he's caught, " Lila said and Marinette's blood ran cold "girl are you alright you look terribly pale? " Alya asked in a concerned tone, "I suddenly don't feel so good, " she said, Marinette knew Lila was liar but she also knew that she always got what she wanted because of it, and the thought of her kitty being put to death made her heart pound. "Ms. Bustier, I think Marinette should go to the nurse, she doesn't look well, " Alya said raising her hand in air "maybe she's just to immature to handle adult conversations like this, " Lila commented and almost everyone laughed "cut it out Lila, " Adrien said giving her a death glare "don't look at me like that I'm victim! " Lila said crying fake tears "let's enough both of you, Alya please take Marinette to the nurses office and bring her stuff down in case she has to be sent home. " Ms. Bustier said stopping the argument from escalating any further,

Alya walked her best friend to the nurse, who couldn't find anything physical wrong with Marinette but decided to send Marinette due to how worried and pale she looked. "I'll text you the notes from class I promise and feel better girl, " Alya said giving Marinette a quick hug before she left to head back to class. 'That liar going to try and get him killed, what am going to do and why do I feel so sick? '
