13: Redecorateing and enrolment

IM WAKEING UP TO ASH AND DUST I SWEAT MY BROW AN-

My stupid phone is ringing at- I roll over and look at the clock, trying not to wake Tobias- 7:00, whoever this is better have a damn good reason for walking me up now. stretching, I grab my phone and hit answer.

"Hello" I say around a yawn

"Hey Tris! It's Chrissy" I should have known

"What the HELL could you possibly want at seven O'clock"

"Oh umm...shopping" she says in a small voice

"You are soooo damn lucky I needed to go to the mall today" I say, and I did we need to put some decorations in Tobias's room.

"You did! Why"

"Four needs decorations for his room, I figured we'd paint it too." she screeches

"Meet me at Starbucks at ten" I agree and hang up. Groaning and mumbeling about Christina, I get out of bed trying not to disturb Tobias. I would have woken him but he looks so peacful when he's sleeping and I didnt have the heart to wake him. I grab some cloths, a simple T-shirt and jeans, and walk into the bathroom. I turn on the shower and strip as I wait for the water to get warm. I get in and wash and as soon as I rinse off I climb out and get dressed. That all only took about fifteen minutes. I silently walk downstairs and start breakfast, I plan on making eggs and bacon so, I get out eggs and put them on the counter and put the bacon in the microwave. Once breakfast is finished its about eight-O'clock, I'm making coffee when Caleb comes down the stairs, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Ugggg I dont feel like argueing with him

" Hey Cae" I say he grunts in responce, still obviously half asleep, and pours himself coffee. I sigh and walk upstairs to wake Tobias, walking into my room I see him sprawled out across the bed with his mouth slightly open. Laughing silently, I shake his sholder and he peels his eyes open. He smiles at me and I tell him that breakfast is ready. I walk downstairs as he takes a shower, when I get int othe kitchen I see Caleb eating at the counter at one of the stools. I smile at him and make me and Tobias a plate too. Just as I finish Tobias coomes downstairs, his hair still glistening with water, and takes a seat near Caleb. I smile and hand him his plate, some coffee and some milk and slid in next to him.

"Are those the same cloths you were in yesterday?" Caleb asks Toby

"Um...well...no but." He stutters before I cut him off

" Did I forget to mention he lives here." I say nochalantly

" Oh tha-" Caleb starts calmly and then spits his milk across the counter, causing me and Toby to laugh. " HES WHAT"

" Are you deaf? I said he lives here." I repeat and decide to change the subject I turn to Toby " We need to go shopping later today"

" Noooo.... Why?" he wines, pouting his lip

" Well, I planed on going anyway to get stuff for your room and then Chrissy called and asked if I wanted to go shopping so, long story short, were going shopping with Christina" I say in one breath

" UGHHHHH. FIIIIIIIIINE" I laugh. I pull out my phone and see that its a friday a little more than a week until school starts, I realize we havnt enroled Tobias yet.

" We also need to enroll you in Roth High." I say

" Yeah, want to do it now?" I nod and dial the schools number

" Hello" says the lady on the other end

" Hi, I'd like to enroll a new student" I say

" Students name?"
