"Hello..."

Under rigidly stood at the ocean, gripping her cloak with a passion and slowly rubbing the pin that held it together.

This was the ocean of memories as Aura had said, and she watched as the orange-ish waves splash against the sand before retreating to the ocean again before another one struck.

Nova stood behind her, next to Aura, who was frowning.

Why is she here?

"Because she wants to get information about something."

Why is she in her cloak? That's not her normal outfit.

"When she wasn't in this book it was."

Then-

"Ask her."

Aura frowned and adjusted the blindfold, heading toward the girl.

"Under? What are you doing here?"

The demon slowly turned around a broken smile on her face.

"Can you take away memories too?"

"What? I don't know-"

"Can you erase people's memories?"

"I mean, sure... why?"

"Something happened."

"What happened?!"

"I'd rather not talk about it. I need you to erase everyone's memories."

Under was facing Aura now, completely.

"Everyones? Like this whole thing hadn't happened?"

"... yes. I want them to remember I still exist, but not this adventure. Not this."

"Are you... quitting?"

"Not quitting. I can't handle it anymore."

Aura frowned further.

"If you won't tell me-"

"I messed up. I opened myself up. This had been a huge failure. I can't do this anymore. Tell *&^@* that I quit."

"You can't! He would be furious!"

"That's why I'm leaving."

"You just can't-"

"The experiment had been a failure. I told him I couldn't take hurting the ones I love. Did he listen? No."

Aura was speechless.

"I-I..."

She was scared of what the scientist (not sci or anyone from there) would do to her if he found out Under had quit the experiment after they got so far into it.

Nightmare was almost to the breaking point, Cross and Dream not far from it either.

"We're so close! We can finish it and you can go!"

"Who's the closest."

"W-what?"

"Who's the closest, Katie."

Aura stiffened.

That had been her name when she was an angel.

"Nightmare..."

"Then?"

"Cross. Then X, and then Dream. Sun and the Killer Krew aren't far behind him. Paint and Moon and aren't very close."

Under took it in before sighing.

"Give me the options."

Aura's eye sockets widened behind the blindfold.
