Taytum's POV
As I'm driving to school, my phone rings. It interrupts my music that is playing through the Bluetooth radio. I sigh, "Hello?"
"Hi, baby," Adam coos. I still haven't completely forgiven him. I'll forgive him when I see a difference in how he treats me.
"What do you want?" I ask annoyed that he interrupted my favorite song.
"Did you not have enough coffee?" He teases.
"To deal with morning people like you? No, I have not. What do you want?"
"Where are you?" He asks.
"Almost to the school. Why?" I ask.
"Ditch with me instead?" He asks.
I smile and roll my eyes. "We did that a couple of weeks ago," I chuckle.
"Yeah, I know, but I had this really good dream about you, and my parents aren't home..." He trails off.
"You hinting at something?" I chuckle.
"You know damn well what I'm hinting at. Get your cute little ass over here," He laughs.
"No, I haven't forgiven you enough for that yet. How about you just get your ass to school," I mutter.
"Damn, babe. Really? I said I was sorry," He growls.
"Well, honey, I don't believe you. We go through this every fucking time Adam. I'll believe it when I see it," I challenge.
He sighs. "Whatever, I'm still not coming to school today." He hangs up on me after that. I roll my eyes. I'm so infuriated with him. As I'm pulling into the parking lot, I think about how things between us were at first. Things are nothing like they were. He's so much different now, and I feel like I'm wasting my time with him. Besides, I'm kind of looking for that fairy tale stuff. That stuff you seen in movies or books. I want to meet a guy who'd make a total fool of himself just for me. A guy who'd-
My thoughts are interrupted when my car suddenly jolts to a stop. I had been backing into a parking spot and backed up too far. As a matter of fact, I backed into someone's car. I gasp in horror and quickly pull forward. I jump out of the car and throw my hands over my mouth. It's a newer black Dodge Challenger. I don't even know who's car it is. I've never seen it before. The windows are tinted black. I'm not sure if anyone was in the car.
"Oh god," I breathe. There is now a dent in both our vehicles, and one of his headlights broke. The driver side door swings open and out steps a boy I've never seen. He has sunglasses over his eyes and black hair. He's wearing a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and blue jeans. "Mmmph," I huff. He's so adorable, but what comes from his mouth next ruins his cute face.
"Fucking bitch," He growls at me. "What the fuck? Drive much?" He throws his hands over his face rubbing fiercely. Wow, what a fucking asshole.
"It was a fucking accident, you stupid asshole!" I shout as I storm toward him.
"An accident? All you had to do was fucking park! You backed straight into my car! Were you even paying attention?!" He shouts.
He's angry as hell, and he has every right to be, but he didn't have to call me a bitch. "I'm sorry, I was not paying attention. I didn't even realize you were behind me when I was backing in," I explain.
"You shouldn't have been backing in. All you had to do was pull in. Why the fuck did you back in?" He growls. We're standing so close I can smell his cologne. I have to arch my head back to look up at him.
