Chapter 19: Nobody

*??? POV*

I walked along the stone pathway that led to the large clock tower in the distance. I reached up and felt the left side of my jacket, running my fingers over the missing chunks where my opponent's claws had torn through.

Whatever, if Kingdom Hearts should awaken, he won't be necessary anyway. I'll have my heart no matter what.

I stopped, looking over to the store that I had stopped at a hundred times at least. I held out four fingers, and almost immediately four sea salt ice creams were placed in my grasp, as I passed over the required munney.

I continued walking, allowing my thoughts to redirect towards my new time off. After spending nearly three straight months at Castle Oblivion, I was more or less ecstatic to return to the Organization proper.

Of course, there are a few of my fellow members that I get along with better than others. Being one of the few of us with no actual memories from before I became a Nobody, I often found myself confused and angry. My friends help with that.

I finally arrived, crossing the threshold into the clock tower. I stepped in and headed for the stairs, going for the top floor.

*Third Person POV*

"(Nobody/Name)!" A voice called out, a blonde girl latching onto his waist, "You're back!"

"Roxas!" N/n called, "Calm down, I'm not going back to the Castle anytime soon."

N/n returned the hug, gently patting Roxas on the back before releasing her. The blonde held the hug for a little longer before finally releasing him. He walked past her, dropping an ice cream in her hand before walking out to the ledge.

"Hey N/n," The red-haired male Nobody greeted, "How was your time at the castle?"

"It was just as boring as always, Axel."

"Ha! I could've told you that," Axel replied, leaning back and putting his hands behind his head, "Hope you don't mind, we invited someone else to join us."

It was at that point N/n realized that there was another person sitting on the ledge. She had black hair and remained quiet, trying to avoid his line of sight.

"Xion, right?" He asked, receiving a meek nod, "Well, it's a good thing I brought extra."

A popsicle plopped down into her lap, as she looked up and met his gaze. He merely let out a yawn, plopping down into his spot between Axel and Roxas. He passed final popsicle to Axel and pulled the plastic off his own, sticking into his mouth as he dangled his legs over the town.

N/n let out a long breath, leaning back and relaxing his posture.

"I missed this."
