*Third Person POV*

Fira dash through the forest, the trees above her were blocking the sun and covering her in darkness. Her breathing was labored, panting as the continued run wore down on her stamina.

Behind her, small black creatures were pushing through the trees and knocking down plants, chasing after her. The small creatures were beginning to catch up, as a massive castle appeared on the horizon of Fira's vision.

She knew she was growing closer to safe ground, she just had to get to the castle before the creatures caught up to her. But her stamina was beginning to wear down, and the creatures were gaining on her. Whatever they were, she could feel their deadly intent against her back.

She could see a clearing up ahead, through the space in the trees. It was littered with training equipment and dummies, she was finally safe.

If it weren't for the root that snagged her foot and sent her tumbling into the field. She fell to her back, crashing into the ground.

Finally catching up to her, the small black creatures seized their chance. They leapt into the air in a tidal wave, crashing down on Fira in what seemed like slow motion. She could see every evil pair of eyes glaring down at her, feel the murderous energy the tidal wave held.

The tidal wave came within feet of her, intending to end her in seconds. It would only be painful, she assumed, as they ripped her to bits and stole her heart.

"PROTEGO!"

A clear bubble appeared around Fira, defending her and turning the demon wave away. Fira turned to see a man with flowing black hair and a white robe standing behind her.

"Master Eraquis!"

"Fira!" The master shouted, "Quickly now, I can't hold them off much longer!"

Fira was light on her feet, quickly jumping up and pulling out her keyblade. As the bubble disappeared, Fira's keyblade was a flash of light as she began to hack through the horde.

Fira and Master Eraquis worked in tandem to cut through the horde of black creatures. Their keyblade cut through the swarm, cutting off torsos and heads and anything else that was unfortunate enough to get in their way.

Fira's keyblade pierced the head of one of the beasts, before the body suddenly erupted in flames. A wave of orange flame shot out and swallowed a large group of the beasts, scorching the earth around them.

Master Eraquis was moving much faster than Fira or the beasts, almost a blur. He cut through waves of the beasts, mowing through them with no care or fear.

Eventually, the waves seemed to thin. Fira and Eraquis were finally able to catch their breaths between attacks, and Fira could feel the exhaustion seeping in.

"Fira," Eraquis said, "Look."

Eraquis was pointing towards the edge of the group of monsters, towards where a massive shadow was beginning to appear. Fira watched as the shadow got larger and larger, bearing towards them.

"Oh this is ridiculous," Fira groaned, "Alright, let's finish this quick

"Oh this is ridiculous," Fira groaned, "Alright, let's finish this quick."

Fira led, her walking base quickly turning into a jog. Eraquis followed behind, jogging along with her. The beast raised it's mighty hammer for blow, and Eraquis quickly changed directions to avoid it.

Fira did not, and was struck by the hammer. The blow knocked her back, but she landed on one knee in the grass. She was panting, letting out angry breaths.

"Fira!" Eraquis yelled, "Are you okay?!"

"Ha, ha," Fira panted, "You know what?"

she pushed herself back up, her eyes catching on fire.

"Leave this one to me."

Fira shot forward, her signature fire dash leaving a flaming after affect behind her. Her blade was engulfed in flames and small flames combusted all over her body, as she radiated a burning heat.

"DIE!"

The Unversed reeled back it's mighty hammer and took another swing, colliding headlong with Fira's running body. This time the head of the hammer was stopped in place, a shock wave shooting out from the collision.

The blaze pouring out of the hammer suddenly turned bright blue, before being absorbed into Fira. Her own flaming blade turned blue, her eyes and the fires combusting on her arms followed suit.

"JUST DIE ALREADY!"

Fira pushed the hammer away, sending it flying into the forest. The Unversed backed away slowly, as Fira advanced.

She took a massive, flaming swipe at the beast, and a gash appeared on it's chest. Flames burned at it's body, and it let out a cry. She swung again, making a perpendicular gash through the chest again.

"BURN ETERNAL!"

Fira pulled back her blade, pushing it forward. It cut through the chest, impaling the beast and unloading the blue flames into its body. Fira froze, as the beast's body was burned to nothing but ashes, floating away into the grass.

Fira huffed and puffed, dropping her keyblade to the grass. It disappeared, and Fira collapsed into the dirt quickly after.

"Take a rest, Fira," Eraquis said, leaning above her, "We're safe for now."
