*N/n POV*

I stood by the side of the tower, the lights of the World That Never Was glowing all around me. It was a peaceful night in the city, one that should be cherished for its rarity.

Despite all that, I could find no relaxation in the quiet. The microscopic noises were deafening, every slight movement giving me motion sickness.

Tonight was the night when everything was set back in motion. When everything came back to the way it was supposed to be.

Sora. Roxas. Riku. Ansem. Kairi. Namine.

These names were surging through my mind, each one causing a tiny migraine as I forced myself to remember. They were important to Namine and DiZ's plan, even if I didn't know why.

Xion. Sora. Kairi.

Xion, the recreation of Kairi, the princess of light, from Sora, the keyblade wielder's, memory. Made for the express purpose of extracting Sora's keyblade from Roxas. It sounds crazy even as I repeat it to myself.

Y/n. N/n. Heartless Y/n.

N/n, me, the Nobody of Y/n. Heartless Y/n is his heartless, obviously. I'm not sure why, but it is imperative that I recollect my other half and bring back Y/n. The key to all of us, lies in him.

But...why is Y/n important? Is he linked to Kingdom Hearts?

Perhaps...all my questions are going to be answered in the future. Maybe I'm just lost in a world I don't belong into.

Perhaps my questions have no answer. That's beginning to look like a very real possibility.

I heard footsteps running quickly to my left, somewhere towards the castle. They were coming closer, pounding against the concrete. I knew who it was, even as they came up behind me.

"Xion."

She came to a complete stop, freezing behind me. I slowly turned and came face to face with her hooded face, only barely able to see under.

"Well, I know you're Xion..."

"But that isn't Xion's face."

She let out a sigh, and lowered the hood, allowing me to see under. Her face had been replaced with that of a different girl, one with flowing brown hair. Her blue eyes stared back at me, and I could feel deja vu as I examined the face.

"This is her face," Xion said, "I'm...becoming her."

"Sora..."

"Yes. She's... Roxas..."

"I know."

"Then...you know what needs to happen?"

"Yep. I was waiting here for Roxas."

"Thank you N/n."

"Don't thank me," I said, looking into the sky, "Thank Namine."

"...Goodbye N/n."

"It's not goodbye. I'll see you again."

She sighed, "I hope we will."

She took off running again, deeper into the city. I watched her leave, before I heard more footsteps coming, this time much slower. As they began to come around the corner, I let out a sigh.

"Roxas."

She stopped, turning to meet my gaze.

"So, you're really leaving?"

"I have to N/n," She said, "I have to know what's happening."

"I know you do."

"Are you going to try to stop me."

I sighed, "There's more to this than you or I could ever know. I won't stop you, but I will tell you good luck."

"N/n, why don't you come with me? We can find the truth together."

"Roxas, you'll find your other half your way. However, I know how I must find my other half. This is goodbye for now."

"Then... I'll see you later."

"Of course we will."

I turned and began to walk away, silently remarking, "Even if we don't know it."

"Axel," I said, getting the hiding Nobody's attention, "Whatever you want to say, make it quick."

"How do we stop her?"

"We don't. There's more to this than we know."

"N/n... are you even working for the organization anymore?"

"...I have my own goals."
