*Third Person POV*

A glint of light blinded Heartless Y/n, as the Kingdom Key spun past him and separated him from his demi-god target. He fell and landed on his feet a few feet away, turning and letting out a growl when he saw who had interrupted him.

"Sora," He growled, "Of course."

"Get out of here Herc," Sora said, running in between the injured demi-god and the heartless, "I'll handle him."

"What's this?!" Phil announced, "A new contender has entered the ring! It's the keyblade wielder, Sora!"

The crowd began to cheer loudly, as Sora stood up and held her keyblade at the ready. Heartless Y/n stood up and threw his keyblade, impaling it in the wall to the right of Phil's head.

"You remember what I told you back in Traverse Town, right?" He asked, "I will have your keyblade. I'll let you choose whether or not you give it to me willingly, or if I have to rip it from your lifeless hands."

"This isn't you, Y/n!" Sora cried, still holding her keyblade at her side, "Please, come back to me!"

"I really don't know what you're talking about," Y/n shrugged, "But whatever. I'm done giving you a choice, so I'll make one for you."

He charged forward quickly, forcing Sora to swiftly raise her keyblade to protect herself. Heartless Y/n's claws shone in the sun, as he swung them downwards and struck against Sora's keyblade.

Sparks flew from the metal of Sora's keyblade, as she swung it at Heartless Y/n. He grabbed the blade with his human hand and twisted it around, pulling it towards him. Sora was pulled along with it, and her face was led straight into Heartless Y/n's waiting fist.

Sora fell to her back, releasing her grip on her weapon. This allowed Y/n to grab it by the handle, as it began to burn at his hand.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed, "Oh, that's so much worse!"

Heartless Y/n fell to one knee, his human hand irreparably burned. His skin was charred black, and his scales were pressed down onto his body tightly. There was no purple glow along his scales, and one of his eyes began to flicker between red and E/c. Even his claws seemed to flicker in and out of reality, as he turned to Sora.

"S-sora?"

"Y/n!"

But just like it had began, the flickering stopped. His claws came back full-force, his eyes glowed with a bright red light, and his scales pulsed quickly with bright purple light.

"NO!" He screamed, "I guess there's no other choice. If I want the Kingdom Key, I'll have to kill you first. Then this... light will die once and for all, and I'll be able to wield it."

There was a flash of light, and a massive keyhole opened in the sky. Looking up, Heartless Y/n let out a low growl.

"Damn it, out of time," He groaned, turning to Sora, "We'll settle this later, light-girl. And I will have that keyblade."

"W-wait, Y/n!"

Heartless Y/n turned to darkness, and disappeared into the keyhole. The keyhole disappeared, and Sora was left to cry in the dusty arena, as her friend disappeared once again.

"Y-y/n, please," She sobbed, tears streaming down her face, "Don't leave me."
